We could all go through individual players and we all know Gardner just isn’t AFL standard. But we have some bigger issues.

Our midfield are unaccountable and have turned into downhill skiers, not sure why but we look great running forward, but we have no work rate going the other way.

The ruck is a major issue, in the long run it probably works itself out but can we wait 2-3 more years for it to click and be consistent?

We have an attacking backline that can’t actually defend 1v1 without pressure on the ball carrier up the field.

Good thing is we kicked straight or this would be ugly right now 17 shots to 7

But it has to be repeated again and again
