Hopefully it gives the midfield confidence to see someone that can kick reliably up there. Maybe it'll help them to deliver it forward properly.
It would make a mountain of difference if they evenly split their targets amongst the three talls rather than just bombing it to Tabs in the pocket (or Lobb if Tabs isn't playing).

That would open up space for others making the whole thing function better. We are so predictable most games.

I noticed the team was kicking to Treacy over Lobb as the game went on longer. Can't blame them

He’s developing well. With his size, aggression, marking and kicking skills he will go past Lobb and Taberner once he matures physically and mentally. I love watching him kick for goal. Assured and composed enough to kick a drop punt like a true footballer.

He’s been rushed into the side, and obviously needed a couple of weeks to find his feet ( game plan ? ). Too many armchair critics judged him too quickly, has a lot of improvement left in him + a lot more steamrollered backmen !!!.

With a lot of teams, he would be serving a season or two development period in the seconds. He’s only just begun.

If he’d kicked that goal from the boundary early in the 4th he’d be a great chance of a rising star nom this week.
They won’t give it to him though.
Cox was pretty good, he should get the nod.

Hopefully Treacy can feast on one of our "easier" fixtures coming up as I don't like his chances later in the season.

Yeah I don't care if it makes us 1 dimensional in the short term, the midfield should be looking for him at every opportunity at the moment. Give me one predictable target over 3 haphazard targets.
