MinRes are in the toilet for all sorts of reasons at the moment.
Most of the iron ore industry is, there's been layoffs at all the major players including mine. All the money MinRes invested in their fancy camps and flying their own planes has come back to bite them in the arse now that the ore price has fallen away, and they're having to do mass layoffs as a result.
Fortescue are in a similar boat.
Just finished up a job for FMG in Perth. They might be laying off staff in one area but there's huge investment happening elsewhere. All systems go.

Very late to be announcing a new major sponsor isn’t it? You’d think they’d have already whacked HJs on the back of the 2025 guernseys, if that’s what it was going to be, so surely it is someone new?

Judging by the training update today on socials, Tyrepower is now on the Eagles coaches gear and is very much front and centre. Their logo is the same size as the Hungry Jacks logo.
Looks like that’ll be our rear jumper sponsor??
