Why don't you just say what you heard for crying out loud say something of substance.

I would take you seriously if you didn’t have a dancing frog with a little hat next to your name

lol good one....us bulldogs supporters need to have a sense of humour though.

Serously, we know he will get paid a lot whatever club he signs with. If you are not going to say why say anything at all?

Because the source of the information asked me to keep it in house.

I wish i could tell you more but Im sorry I cant

On FFN last night, Browny had just come out of a meeting with his manager, Campbell Rose, Peter Rohde and assorted others. He said he was keeping in mind that his best friends were at the club along with a strong supporter connection. He'd been asked to leave the meeting so that negotiations could continue. He didn't expect any decision to be made in the short term.

Here's the lowdown...

Brown's negotions with collingwood are the furtherest of any other club. His manager has given the demand whats he wants off the bulldogs. It is now our choice on whether we match his demands or go for a longer contract less wage to lock him in, similar to Darcy.

If he doesn't sign by grandfinal, you know which club he will be playing for next year.

And yes, it is all about money.

This is wrong. 100% incorrect.

You should be careful LondonBulldog, you could get into a lot of trouble telling people things that you don't really know about.

My source is a player, and I will take it until I hear otherwise.

I occasionally get the inside goss, yet don't say anything. Since this has been such a hot topic I thought I might as well throw it out.

I'm not saying he wont sign with the dogs but the alternative is definately collingwood (thats his choice) and has been for weeks for anyone in the know.

Don't be naive and think players don't see what their worth. Most here on this site would be extremely surprised to find out how close we were to losing our most loyal bulldog to Collingwood last year. Collingwood had money to burn last year (hence Wowodien) and threw crazy amounts at him. Luckly he signed just before Wallace resigned.

Dougie, people on this board know I only post when something is on my mind. Not a bullsh*t artist, just saying what I know from a good source.

LondonBulldog, its great that you post what you hear from the player you know, however don't state it as fact. Unless the player is Nathan Brown, than i doubt they have such definitive information at their disposal anyway. Obviously every Bulldog player doesn't have intimate details of every other Bulldog players contract negotiations, so just keep it a bit in perspective.

Also is it you that knows the player source? Or is it your best mate that knows him? Or your cousin's girlfriend's hairdresser's uncle who shops at the same supermarket as the player sources 2nd cousin? I am not having a go, just obviously you haven't told us how close you are to your player source and it can make a fair bit of difference to the validity to the information you put forward.

Who is our most loyal player btw?

I'd assume LB's talking about Brad Johnson being the player Collingwood tried to obtain last year.

Guys,

to further stir the pot on the Brown issue, I heard that Brown has declined his invite to the B&F. I'm not stating that as fact but if this is true then it doesn't bode well at all.

no

Declining his invitation to the B & F can't be right as players are require to attend and as it is on while he is still under contract he would be required to attend.

I also heard they were vehemantly chasing Johnno and he wouldn't sign with them because of his loyalties to the Bulldogs
