Treacy couldn’t mark effectively and is barely 20 games into his career. No way.Treacy over Tabs.
Time to move on and give Treacy an extended run
Eventually sure but just not yet.But at the end of the day, I think we can all agree, Taberener has to go.
We should nickname him Bradbury. We've spent multiple years waiting for this guy to work out. He's had an arm chair ride due to the fact that all our other KPF hail Mary's have failed miserably, he's the last man standing once again. Through no fault of his own he's the face of the freo s**t show that has been the post pav era.
Did anyone else besides me think that when Tabs had the ball on the boundary side on his own and cut inside to deliver inside 50m and ran straight towards the lone St Kilda player that he was actually going to kick it straight into the lone St Kilda player.
Eventually sure but just not yet.
I think if by approaching the midway point of the season we’ve still basically got the same from tabs as we’ve always got- couple great games interspersed with non existent showings all wrapped up with the usual missed games through injury AND the teams struggling to keep pace with the comp leaders , then yeah we’ve really got to say thanks Matt but your purely depth from now on and it’s the Amiss/treacy combo from here on in.
I can't believe this many people are on the drop Tabs bandwagon. I thought I was going to get chased out of the forum for even considering it. It's great to see so many people with an eye on the future. Restoring my faith in humanity.
You are skating on thin ice with your drop Shooter idiocy though
Your off your head with that s**t
Hey, I’ve already said it, i didn’t want to drop him, but if I wanna see the dream lineup of Amiss, Treacy and Sturt, somebody’s gotta give.
Do we drop Switta instead?

Ha Ha! If that's the case then it's not a dream, it's a deadset nightmare.Your dreams might come true but it’ll probably mean the seasons gone to s**t and we’re out of the finals race
Agree with this. He gets a reprieve for the first few round but if we’re looking like missing finals it’s a case of thanks but we’re looking to the future.Eventually sure but just not yet.

Taberner was not the reason we lost against saint kilda. He isn't even close to the reason we lost
He is much closer to being one of the reasons we didn't win
I actually agree with you, but it took a couple of re-reads to get to that point. You win games by scoring more goals than your opponents.
You lose games by conceding more goals than your opponents.
Hence, he wasn't why we lost, more so why we didn't win.
Brodie!!!! really!!. He has been no better no worse than any of the other big gun mids. Will the other be looked at?As I said, Fyfe will still be there when needed and Sonny will be running the show in the forward line as he does.
It could be argued that Taberner has hardly any consistency also, but then that would ruin my "he's been consistently average" line.
We can't keep churning out the same mediocrity week in week out like we have been, it just isn't working.
And look, if the "lets drop Tabs/Shooter/Brodie and experiment with Amiss/Treacy/Sturt" thing doesn't work out, then you can all turn around and say we told you so and we'll go back to the usual tripe that we usually offer in the forward line. But if that's the case then you might as well write off the next 5-10 years as well because as far as I can see. Those latter 3 guys are the future of this club and if they don't work out, then we are knackered.
Yep I'm in the same boat as you.I've defended Taberner more than any other fan has, I've probably been his biggest supporter for years, but it's time to go.
Nah... You have never been the biggest supporter of tabs....I've defended Taberner more than any other fan has, I've probably been his biggest supporter for years, but it's time to go.
