I have been on youtube and seached for Ben Saunders and they do have few highlights there,according To Paul Haselby who is his coach at S Fremantle he is a player worth looking at and apparently the Pies are not the only ones interested in him.

Few interesting players who didnt get picked up, Garlett obviously being the big exclusion. Youd still think there'd be teams interested in a player with his skill set and ability. I certainly hope we're still interested but im not holding my breath.
Then theres Colquhoun, who obviously has his detractors on bigfooty but plenty of posters who think hes a pretty decent player. Rebounding defender, All Australian, SA MVP averaging 28 disposals... not drafted? Thats a little odd. I could certainly find a use for him
Pongracic seemed like an interesting prospect, same with Irra who played some senior SANFL this season as well and would also add some speed to the team. I also really liked Marvin Warrell, who has been a bit of a big game player over in the west. Sam Lowrie and Shane Nelson as well. Then theres Josh Toy... could be an interesting pre season/rookie draft.

I don't like Toy's chances.. if anyone thought he could make it they woulda drafted him with the immense skill he has.

I still get the feeling someone will take a punt on the boy. Unless theres something behind the scenes affecting his ability to play football at the highest level, then i think he'll find a home somewhere. Certainly hope he can

Also might of been put off with Vlad's slip of the Mic? Re rotations limited which i assume (medical ppl required here) doesn't help his chances?

It doesn't really matter about the interchange, AFL is a hugely aerobic fitness based game, and if your aerobic ability isn't up to standard you are going to seriously struggle.
Now that his heart problem is out in the open, the opposition are really going to exploit it much worse than before.. "if you are on Toy just keep running and you'll run him into the ground easily". He will be a liability

Toy's biggest handicap will be poor recovering from sprint efforts, if there is a cap on the interchange the game will slow down and could actually work slightly in his favor. I think you mean "if a cap on interchange rotations gets implemented"

Me too, twas a great night.
I was set to make some popcorn and settle in for the argument over a Toy, but like the Gaza and Israel, you appear to have temporarily established some middle ground. Knightmare has made me wish we had taken Membrey instead of Ramsey. You can see that Collingwood BF fans don't rate him at this stage, because his 'welcome to Collingwood ...' thread is way below the others and almost off the first page.
