Collingwood has called a press conference for 10:30 this morning. Gotta be good news for Bucks. Two year extension to be announced with Mentor. Suspect a few other Footy Dept appointments also announced. Good stuff Pies. Let's get going.

Reckon you might be in a minority there boxy99 but the Club has had moths to consider this move. No doubt plenty of people have had their say. It seems the Board wanted a one year extension but opted for two to prevent another media-circus-year. I reckon most members will support this move.

2 year deal seems strange.

Surely his performance thus far warrants 1 year extensions. Continue the path and see incremental change you can extend - but it's not like he's going to get poached. Just seems like a move entirely to ward off external media pressure, which is the sign of a poorly run club IMO.
