That's why his face is red & his mouth is open, like you do when you are bawling. :D

Far be it for me to be a Buckley apologist, but I recall the news footage of the time on channel 10 of the Pies' skipper running off the ground with dust in his eyes and at the moment the photo was taken he was mouthing a certain word beginning with "F", due to his impairment of vision.

Yep, Pies have cried at various times in recent years, but this was not one of them.

yeh, saints were deadset last and were winning that match until the last minutesand lost by 1 point. I was there and man I could have cried too!

Didnt Max Hudghton openly bawl his eyes out after losing a regular season match? Which meant what? The difference between last and last?

Cried for being called a naughty boy.

what's the obsession with crying anyway? last time I was aware of such discussion I would have been pushing 10.

Missing out on playing a grand final or losing a grand final compared to a player being injured in rd 1 and will miss about 6 weeks or a player crying about losing a regular season match, and nearly flooding the TD

So Saints fans find it funny that Collingwood players get upset at losing or missing grand finals whilst all their players have to be upset about is losing regular season matches as Grand Finals are almost like a myth down at Morrabin, they must wonder if they exist especially seeing as none of the current St Kilda players were alive when the Saints last won a flag

So players are human and show emotion. Riewoldt is 22. In his first match as captain, he thinks he could be out for probably longer than he will be, but that is no less significant than malthouse's weeping over collingwood's grand final loss. He is more than twice Riewoldt's age and weeping on national TV. There is little difference.

People are people are people.

You got it wrong, he was crying tears of joy because he didn't have to get flogged in another GF

Good afternoon Zeke, all rested and primed for another day of high level debate on the topic of the crying game? Think you were dissed by the kids yesterday. Some pretty condemning articles in the Age sports you might like to read!
