Curious about whether it’s harder for T20 openers to adapt to Test cricket better than 50 over cricket or is it the after work beers talking?
I'm at the morning after the after work beers and red wine stage and this confuses me.

Just whether T20 batters can transition to long format batting more effectively than 50 over batting.
Just because T20 batters probably think they can simply play the same way in 50 over cricket, whereas there’s a more obvious shift in mindset required for Tests.

I think Murphy is probably just still ahead of him, and they'd play Kuhnemann instead of 3 right arm offies if they go with 3. Should surely make the squad now though.

Leggies just don't seem to have the success in Asia that finger spinners seem to do, I'd be more interested in Sangha if something happened to Lyon next time we were in England or SA.

Davies must be auditioning for the ODI side, lazy lazy batting.
That's how he always plays. It came off in the Shield last season but it was never going to be sustainable

Seriously impressive knock from Konstas, this. Toughed it out at the start, picks the right deliveries to go after, fast between the wickets. Starting to use his feet well too.

He had a was good in the Shield last year but I get the feeling the white ball is his go.
His brother would be the one to watch for red ball cricket from what I've heard.

I can see a Michael Clarke-type future for Ollie Davies once he gets a few more gears to his game.
Hopefully less of a complete tosser.
We've had a few of those. But then again, so have other nations.
We need a tosser ranking system.
Internationally it would be hard to top Brendan McCallum.

Stuart Magill. Even his own team mates hated him .

How could I forget him. The only man I can think of who, by his actions, managed to get the rules of cricket changed significantly.
It's thanks to him the rules regarding runners when injured got changed.
