Big difference is that the Gades’ Kiwi international made a rapid-fire 28 and also got a solid 24 from their Pom batsman, whereas our Kiwi was out for a duck and our Pom scored 9 off a strike rate of 75.

for his age connolly seems to not only adapt to conditions well but seems step up to every level of cricket he goes into. Thought he was introduced to both BBL ane Shield cricket well but he has been able to handle both levels really well. Reckon they need to prioritise his shield cricket with the amount of blokes in the current test side being old farts. He’s definitely one that should be coming into the test mark up in the next couple years
