Had we had inglis, the squad make up would actually look really good. Both Turner and Hobgod are natural late order hitters. It’s a shame non of the international are giving us much.

Hobson is legitimately a pretty solid finisher. Feels somewhat unfair that he’s a bit of a meme because of that one year where the Scorchers top and middle order were so strong that he kept getting DNB or coming in to score 2 runs off the last ball of the innings.
It’s also pretty funny that in an era of guys playing sweeps and scoops all over the place in white ball cricket, Hobson just comes in and tries to pump every ball down the ground.

So Kholi hey. Not enough said for my liking. Absolute disgrace of a penalty but unsurprising given it was Virat and the Indian team.
Pretty simple, if you make deliberate aggressive contact with an opposition player, suspend the person. I would say the same if one of ours did it.
And his antics after the contact trying to claim it was Konstas’s fault, whilst not unexpected behaviour from him, just shows him for the entitled twat that he is. Shame, as a lot to like about his cricket and a great player but his entitled petulance ruins it.

Disappointed that they didn’t pause play to give recognition to Siraj for bringing up his century
Had to land on the bowlers landing marks as well. Very harsh and he probably had an eye on making some quick runs too
