Interesting fact I read recently about Montana. They passed racial zoning laws early 20th century banning blacks from middle class communities.

In 1890 blacks in Montana blacks lived in all 56 counties in the state. By 1930 thanks to these racist laws they were confined to just 11 counties.

The Republicans did vote against Judges Trump nominated in the senate nominee hearings.

In over 200 Biden nominations it took until 2024 for the first Democrat to vote against a Biden nominee.

So let's not pretend partisan political appointees don't happen on both sides of the aisle.
