What have Carlton done to deserve this draw? 11 night games!!!!!

The majority of night games should include, Hawthorn, Geelong, Saints, Dogs, Collingwood.... or any other team in the 8 last season.
How can a team who didn't make the 8 get that good a draw!! Joke.

Mate the AFL is all about profit dont you no that? Ok, maybe Carlton don't deserve that many night games but we did average around 45,000 a games (only collingwood beating them out of the victorian clubs).

It also doesnt help your cause that you only drew 19,000 to a final last year. So,look at it not from a pure fans point of view, look at it from a business point a view who would you give more night games to.

A team that didn't make the eight last year but in the view of many are on the way up drawing 45,000 people last year.

Or a team that has played finals and can draw less than 20,000 to a final game and in a town where NRL will always beat the AFL?

As far as our fixture goes, i'm not overly thrilled with some times/days/venues but i'll still go & support my team

We definitely have to play at least 1 home game there.

In '07 we played a total of 3 games at TD and in '08 we played 4.

Also Collingwood have to play a minimum of 14 home and away matches at the MCG each year. This was part of the MCC Preliminary Final agreement with the AFL.

Yeah pretty happy with the Bombers draw although 2 subi trips late in the season are a bitch.

Got plenty of foxtel games this year as well. Really don't know why the AFL would give us so many foxtel games when we consistently draw some of the biggest TV crowds in Melbourne...

I was wrong.

It's a good draw for St Kilda competitive wise, as we play Geelong and Hawthorn only once, and Melbourne & Essendon twice. We play 15 games at Etihad Stadium, do not play Fremantle in Perth or travel to Brisbane, and personally, no St Kilda home game clashes with my football playing commitments.

However, we play 12 games on Foxtel (Ok for some people, not for others), play back to back interstate games in Rounds 18 & 19, and play a huge number of Twilight games (which, considering we had had two in two years as a Dome tenant, is understandable).
