I don't think Chapman is really an option now, he won't play all 22 games. And I don't want to swap my premiums in the same posistion. twice.

I think I'll be doing this option too so I can get Judd into my midfield and Newman into my defense as I have $184,8000 :thumbsu:

LOL - I'm surprised you want Newman even after the dismal first game...LOL

makes me happy I didn't use any trades this week and still have the 20 :thumbsu:

+1

+1, I did that twice last year...LOL..Bowden in Bowden out, Fraser in Fraser out...it hurts a lot..at least it was swap premiums in same position for you, but for me it was the same players..LOL

A few years back Lloyd ripped his hamstring off the bone, and he was fine after the game, but he was out for the season.
Similar to Roo, I think he could be gone for 8-12, 4-6 is too soon imo.

If anyone cares...

"We will investigate it. If I thought it was off the bone do you think I would have half a smile on my face now? We don't think it's significant. Everyone is interested. I am interested. 'Rooey' is interested. But if you know the process it has to settle. There will be bleeding. They will scan it."

we can sit hear and say that its off the bone due to the position of it. But for those like me or optomistic about riewoldt, then at least wait until the scans are done so we can get a proper diagnostics.

I still have 20 trades. J. Brown would be the obvious choice for me, but don't like the idea of paying a premium price for him. I think he will get average scores eventually.

What about J. Brennan? Listed as forward, but playing midfield and getting a heap of it. His out suspended this week, so his price won't change.

I already have ROK and Brown. I'm going to wait and see what the injury is after the scans. Too early to be making any rash decisons without knowing the full picture.

I'm in the "already have Brown, bringing in O'Keefe" camp

Even an 8 week injury is too long to have $600k sitting on the bench IMO

God dam it, my trade usage is kicking me in the nuts big time.

I thought I had my forwards looking good with Brown, Roo and ROK (for the record I traded in Brown this week NOT Roo lol).

Looks like I'm going to use one this week then sit on my hands until about round 6 or 7.

I hope.

He's got a high grade tear which means he's out indefinetly/they don't want to put a time on it. 4-6 best case scenario.

Trade trade trade,

If he looks like being out for 4-6 weeks minimum i'll be trading. Then when he comes back i'll have the option of trading him back in at a lower price if I want too. Not sure if he'll start scoring big scores in his first few weeks back, so gives me the option of waiting.

At this stage I can't really afford to trade down to Rockliff with a forward line of: Roo, ROK (traded him in for Tippett this week), Pavlich, Harvey, Hall, Ziebell, Warren

Looking at maybe Goodes, Brennan or even Didak after a price drop. Could get Higgins but he seems fairly risky to me as he's injury prone and I could do without another injury. Liking the look of Goodes the most but don't know about relying so much on both ROK and Goodes in my forward line...

My criteria:

- Can't be someone I have (RoK, Brown, Pav)
- Can't be someone a small from Collingwood (Didak, Davis)
- Can't be someone who has a history of injury (Chapman, maybe Higgins)
- Has to be a superstar

That leaves... Goodes, Franklin and Harvey.

Probably Goodes>Franklin>Harvey in that order.

Out of them i'd take Goodes. Harvey is having a good game now and will be much cheaper. But if you look at Goodes's scores last yeay they're super impresive. Not sure if he's playing a different role this year or not, but if he carves it up against the Tigers he should be a good option. He's top of my list atm.

ST Kilda has suffered a crushing blow with confirmation that captain Nick Riewoldt has a serious hamstring injury. Scans today revealed a high grade muscle tendon injury to the key forward's right hamstring.

Riewoldt is almost certain to miss up to two months, perhaps more, and his absence will be a blow to the club's finals ambitions.

St Kilda said in a statement that the tendon had not come off the bone, however it was a "significant hamstring injury."

Riewoldt will now be examined by specialist surgeons as the club examines options.

He hurt himself leaping for a mark just before halftime in the Saints' 28-point win over Collingwood.

Riewoldt -----> Brown (if I can afford it).
Only have $2,200 in the bank.
I know that Brown's break-even for this week was 17 and that Riewoldt will drop about $5000.
Does anyone know roughly how many points Brown would need to score to overtake Riewoldt's price? He's got 107 at half time.
Thanks.
