He played about 99% of the game on the weekend up forwards, Sullivan (rookie) and Seaby rotated the ruck duties. Also Kerr got 18 possessions in a half of football as he was rotated on around about half time.

Not a bad team. Your forward like is rather weak, I'd say you've spent too much in the midfield, as they are the positions that generally increase in price the most. I'd look at downgrading swan/salopek as you said, and upgrading veszpremi.
Quite solid there Prolix. Maric you could do a lot better (especially one player I can think of thats way better and about the same price) and depending on NAB cup form you might want to change bother Tarrant and Alwyn.
All forward lines are going to be weak this year mate. Very average set of players to choose from there.
Thats my point. Theres good cheapies in other positions, so make your forward line as strong/pricey as possible. Unless you can find your own hidden bargains there. I think Alwyn Davey is a good bargain to keep.

yeah only 30k difference thats why i just started to think about masten. his not going to get as much of a tag if any. kerr does get suspended a few times a season. not sure if both of their injuries are 100% healed from last year. but kerr has the ability to dominate a game as we have seen before.

To be honest Kerr would be safer but Masten is a bit of a bargain.

I would take the risk on Kerr personally.
With all the contract bullshit out the way, I think he will be more focused this season. His price is a bargain. Well better than Cuz's, but we all know what Cuzzy can do.

Hmm Saturdays game kind of turned me away from Kennedy. Wasn't convincing at all.
I know it's only one game but we didn't appear to have a lot of structure and now I'm thinking Hansen may be our first choice CHF, with Josh maybe playing a little deeper or even being a fring player for perhaps one more season.
What do others think?

Not to bad, finally someone else who is prepared to pick Ablett at his price! Would watch Desi closely to make sure he is completely over his injury, may be worth keeping an eye on Skipworth & Veszpremi in the pre-season as alternatives.

Well if Ablett delivers 250pt rounds like last season then you'd be f***ed in the head to not have him.
I know i sorta ran out of cash towards the forward line, but i've still got a few high scoring guns, and hopefully the newbies can pull off like 50pts or so at least. I basically pick 1 reserve player as a cash cow and another as the cheapest player to spend somewhere else, (reasoning behind Sullivan, Blease etc)

But the one thing im worried about is that theres more Freo players than West Coast in my team

I'm taking a similar strategy in the forwards as I think their prices are most likely to have a bigish fall at some stage during the year. Guys like Roo, Brown & Frankiln were all sub $500K at different times IIRC
Plus there seems to be a lot of good rookies in the forward line this year as well eg Ziebell, Sidebottom, Gumby, Walker, Brown, Ballantyne, Yarran. I'm going to take the risk & probably start 2 & look to upgrade as the year progresses. If it works great & if not such is life...

Nicoski is iffy but he's not the worst to go with so hes on
Harley is out half this season and besides you can do better
Morris is not a good buy in DT very consistent and rarely scores well. He won't improve on that this season either imo.
Hurn doesn't get enough of the ball and I fear he never will.
Mids are pretty good though I would wait to buy Ablett his price will drop dramatically in the first few rounds imo.
Rocca is pus you can do better
I would go with a Ziebell instead of Tippett
Watts is pulling a Dangerfield and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't travel this season.
