Bartel plus 90k in the bank or Ablett?, keeping in mind I dont really have anything I want to use the 90k on. Would probably stay in the bank if i got bartel

Also Nathan Brown or Deledio?

Reily or Masten?

Stevens

I want him in my team but can't find a player to take out for him. Defender who can kick goals, what more do you want?

I know this question has probb been done already but,

Morton vs Tuck vs Haselby vs Masten

It's the last spot in my team, and I keep changing my mind

haselby for sure.. def man mayb even stay a keeper

need to pick 2

otten, beams or robinson

You left out Anthony. Most likely to play the most games out of these players.

On my mids reserves I have Anthony and Otten.

Both mature bodies and likely to play many games.

If you already have Anthony I would chose Otten and Robinson.

Carlton is more desperate for someone of Robinsons position then Collingwood is for Beams.

P. Burgoyne V Drummond

yeh dude i already have anythony

thats tough dude cause i like drummond to

im tossing up between him and chad??

i wld take the punt on drummond outt ayour 2

I'd go Drummond because he has more upside.

Ablett or Bartel + 90k? Keep in mind that I don't actually have anything to spend the 90k on so will be saving it in the bank if I get Bartel.

The second coming of EJ Whitten (Delidio) vs Goodwin.

Same price.

Goodwin looks like playing Hodge's role in 09. With rolling zones and all that bullshit should score well.

Delidio looks like he has remained constant between 08 and 09. Scores are meh by super elite standard and he has had decent TOG.

Yes i do realise its pre-season but pre-season form and scores cannot be dismissed altogether.

Thoughts?

Youth and Richmond for mine Spartan.
Deledio looks sharp and has 10 years on Goodwin, and I can see more potential score growth (and a higher overall ave) from Lids. Cooney was the #1 draft pick the year before, and look at where he's at now. I don't think Lids will get the #1 tagger either with Cousins, Tuck and Foley back in form.

What are you thoughts on a $580,300 midfielder (i already have Judd, Cross and J.Selwood) out of this lot:

Cooney (bit wary of having two doggies in the same team)
Black (arm injury still a concern for first couple of rounds)
Goodes (sydney's style of play deters me, even though he ave'd 100 last year)
Kirk (see Goodes comment)
Power (with SBlack possibly not starting rnd 1, might be a good move)
Pendles (will probably get the #1 tag now)
Kornes (question marks over disposal effectiveness)
NDS (just question marks)
Swan (may be freed up of the #1 tag, given Pendles' rise)
Richo (I'm a richmond fan, but the man's 33)

Others I'm thinking of include: Sewell, Gibbs, McClean & Kerr, even though theyre not priced as super-elite mids.....

If that were me, I'd go with K. Cornes as I think he presents the best value at 505,100. I think Port had an off year last year, and will be a big improver and therefore boost Cornes scores. In 2007 when Port finished second he averaged 112.3.

$550,000 to spend on my last forward.
(I have Pavlich, Deledio and Steve Johnson)

Fev, Richo, Didak, Chapman ?????
I'm leaning to Fev and +80k in the bank.

and

Ablett/Wells vs Bartel/Selwood

OK... I know this may cause some "are you serious!" posts but,

Judd or Ball/Wells/Foley with money in the pocket (with the aim of picking up Judd early on)??

Cheers!

Rodney - Funny... I've had each of those forwards in my team at some point. At the moment i'm leaning towards Chapman or Fev. Chappers cause I think he'll score relatively well with time on the ball... Fev cause I think he's a bit underpriced this year

Yeah but you're a Richmond fan. :p

It'd be out of Goodes, Kornes and NDS for me.. depending on if you can spend the extra cash elsewhere..

I'm slowing warming towards Goodwin although if i had to pick in your situation then it'd be the potential upside of a young Deledio winning out for sure. Having both would be a nice little 1-2 forward option though.

Just when i thought i was done...

Had 100k in the bank and thought of a little move that (might) have more upside but with that comes what is expected to be more of an injury risk.

Had Malceski and Otten but with the cash could turn into Drummond and Robinson leaving me with no cash.

(Malceski and Drummond being my #4, Otten my #6)

My whole team is a lock except for my last backman.

Should my bench be Hill/Broughton or Hill/Suban?

And yes, I try to fit Hill on the field but I love my starting 7 too much.

Tough one because we don't know the teams. Have heard good things around here and elsewhere on Suban but will Freo run with two newbies? Same question as Beams and Sidebottom i guess.

Midfield dilemma - T Tuck vs C Masten? i can afford to ugrade one to Selwood and i can't work out who'll get me the greatest points/cash return. Thoughts?

Judd v Goodes (spartan don't answer :p)
Goodes. Played 22 games for 7 consecutive seasons, there's less competition for the ball, and he scored 90+ in 12 of his first 13 games last season before he started having injury and suspension problems. For the first time this decade.
