So far there have been 24 Pieman teams selected out of a possible 46. Here's the selection count up to now.

Incredible plunge on a kid who has yet to kick an AFL goal ... has somebody got some inside info?

PIEMAN RESULTS ROUND 6 v Fremantle

Woohoo! A huge win that, in percentage terms, pretty much cancels out ONE of those big early losses. Also 17 goals tonight and 11 different goalkickers (but only 10 if you take out the sub McNeil) ... that makes for an entertaining night at Pie Central.

Rollovers and Pieman Subs
There were 13 rollover teams this week (including the Kelvin winner!) but only one sub was required. Jeff 1975 got the English (19 pts) as sub for Hannan. That seems like a pretty fair swap. The sub order was Weightman, English, Bont, Naughton.

The KELVIN

It was a pretty interesting set of selections this week. For some reason everybody wanted to get on board Arty Jones. Not sure why. Maybe because it was his first game back in his home state and he was "due"? Over 16% of ALL selections were Arty Jones. I think the Pieman would have exploded if he'd kicked that goal in the second half.

Here's the selection breakdown. Red = 3 goals, the Peachy colour = 2 goals and the Beige = 1 goal

There were 21 attempted Chumps (5x) and ... [drum roll] ... there was one successful Chump! Congrats to Vinegar Mess (155 pts including 44 bonus points). Unfortunately for VM it wasn't enough for the Kelvin. He had to settle for third behind X_box_X (184) and TiAn_ (156). Now speaking of Chumps, if the normally accurate Jamarra had nailed even one of his many shots on goal there would have been 5 Chumps this week, not 1. And one of those would have been X_box_X who would have had an 89 point bonus for a total of 273.

That shows how effective the bonus can be. And how important it is that we capitalise on those i50 entries!!

Average score this week was 74.96 and the Median was 71.

The PIEMAN

It was carnage at the top this week. Last week's top three leaders got smashed with former leader Bont2Bruce (50) doing best but still dropping to second. dogwatch registered only 34 and slipped from 2nd to eq 8th while Charlie Bucket got a 38 and slipped to 6th.

Our new leader is Struggle (eq 8th last week) on 428 and Boyd oh Boyd (7th last week) is now in third. It just goes to show how quickly things can change. So don't despair Dannnnnnnn and lachy, it's still only Round 6!

It's also very tight at the top with 22 teams (nearly half the field) all within the top 100 points.

Pieman Player of the Week

It has to be Bailey Williams of course. Three classy goals tonight.

The highest possible score this week was 342 (3x Williams, 2x Treloar) but a Chump of Williams, Treloar, Bont, Daniel and Scott would have been worth 308.

Pieman Player of the Year

Bailey Williams also takes over as Player of the Year. Don't expect any fancy handicaps on him next week folks!

So that's it from Pie Central for the week.
Time now to luxuriate all weekend in the glow of a big WB win ... I said we'd :poo: it in!
