My daughter gets me to order her special items from leaf, i think it’s bonsoy she uses it’s not bad it tastes ok in coffee. Somehow according to her everything in the fruit and veg range is crappy from Safeway so I’m buying it from leaf. Cooled her enthusiasm this week though she got a lousy cantaloupe. It was like watching that seinfeld episode, very amusing I might even be able to grab one from safeway this week.

We buy from Little Hen in Balaclava. It gives me high blood pressure just walking in there, it's like double Coles prices and full of Yoga nuffies taking too long to make basic decisions.

There used to be a guy in Elwood for years that had this Organic fruit shop, he got busted going around after the Vic Market had closed and picking shit out of the bins then going back to sell it to hippies. He got done a few times but didn't give a shit.

I remember him, everyone in the area knew his stuff was rubbish. We were friendly with the owners of a good green grocery in the same Ormond road strip.

I remember there was a hippy bird and her boyfriend tied up with him, I think the artwork on the shop was meant to be her. Anyway his produce looked like it came out of a bin and he was a strange rude old guy, the shop was full of flies and outside the shop was always dirty with his ancient old van parked in front.

I think I’m paying 25% more from leaf but it is usually better quality and it keeps her happy so I just suck it up. They also have a good range of other products from deli to bread plus I can order meat from felices place through them which keeps us out of shops.

Love the Storm, but that was a choke and a half. Haven't seen them so mentally out of it all year, it's like they deliberately didn't want to link up and just stuttered their way through the match. Very poor.

I didn't think the reality would live up to the hype regarding this new Sci Fi TV series on APPLE.....called FOUNDATION... Based on a series of novels by Isaac Asmiov ....critics giving it a hard time but as often is the case...its absolutely becoming brilliant....2 episodes in so far and the apetite is certainly growing!!!!

I read the book back in the day.
It was interesting but not the kind of action many people like in their Sci Fi.

Poor old Issac, he's still turning over in his grave after I Robot.

Issac Asimov had realised that nearly every story about robots, was essentially a version of Mary Shelly's "Frankenstein"
Man creates artificial life, creature turns against creator.

He wrote a number of stories where Robots were hard wired. They could not harm humans or through inaction allow them to be harmed.
Rather than robots being the antagonists in his books, the villain was invariably a human , due to their bias, prejudice or dishonesty.


So when they made the Will Smith movie.
Used the titles from one of his books, went with the Frankenstein plot.

I’m thinking of re reading the series.
I read it so long ago I can’t pick how faithful the show is being to the book.
very good show so far.
