Almost offloaded Warnock to GWS last year, filthy it didn't get done in the end

Cacchia - In the gun
Watson - In the gun - just to slow and poor decision making
They would like to have a bigger clean out this year than last, contracts keeping some here for another year
Looks like we will be targeting a speedy mid with our first pick in the draft

Rookie listed players are only given one year deals, but they can stay on the rookie list for up to 3 seasons.

From what I've heard, he's been largely ineffective and hasn't been named in the best once (not 100% on this). If he hasn't shown anything in the two's, he may not be given a chance. With the year we've had, anyone who can't at least crack our emergencies or put pressure on for a senior game shouldn't be retained. Who knows whether he's in Mick's plans though.

It's a question over whether Reynolds has shown enough x-factor ahead of this coming year's bunch of kids. there are a couple of hundred kids a year vying for a shot.

Fair enough - I'm coming from a position of almost complete ignorance about Reynolds. I was just surprised we'd only give someone a year to prove themselves. I guess perhaps he has (in the negative) if Kreuz Control is right.

He hasn't been terrible. He has flashes, but I don't think he'd ever be an excitement machine. I just think he's been lapped by some of the others.

Perhaps like a poor man's Brad Fisher-type 3rd tall/half-forward... was rated as high as 30 in last years draft but fell way down... obviously the hype wasn't justified. Happy to be proven wrong, however if we choose to retain him over another kid.
