Would rather draft Prestigiacomo if he still has the fire in the belly instead of wasting a pick on a talented young KPD - they'll take too long to come on.

We should also seriously look at Leigh Brown for a Stewart Dew style comeback. He played his best footy under Mick and would instantly improve our forward structure.

I'm warming to the idea of having Didak at the club. Sure he's a murky character, but when he's on, he can play some pretty special footy. If he's on close to minimum chips, and can stay injury-free and fit for 2 years, he'd be a good replacement for Eddie.

People, people, people...

The Didak talk is clearly just designed to turn a few heads...journo's will flock like flies to dung leaving us free and unencumbered to snap up Adams and Docherty. Pretty sure.

Just remember that Swanny loves games and misdirection.

May not necessarily be the case here but he knows how to play the game and use the media to advantage.

What's in the rumours that we might offer Robbo to Adelaide?
Maybe all the bogans in that town would understand his upside down V signal:confused:

Hi all! (First comment for 2 years)

Shane Savage has been named as an emergency for the Hawks this weekend.

Savage to Carlton? Any possibility of this happening? What is he worth?

Didak would teach Menzel, Yarran and Garlett how to shimmy.

Re chapman - said yesterday continuing his career is more important that being a one club player.

Yep, grab Shaw as well. Has previously been a bit of scuttlebutt about N.Brown potentially being traded so hone in on him too. Toovey has always had a good relationship with Mick so should be easy to entice him also. Krakouer and Jolly are free as well.

B: Tuohy Prestigiacomo Jamison
HB: Shaw N.Brown Toovey
C: Gibbs Mclean Thomas
HF: L.Brown Henderson Didak
FF: Krakouer Waite Garlett
R: Jolly Judd Murphy

I/C: Simpson Curnow Carrazzo S: Lucas

Have unfortunately had to trade a few players here and there to bring in all this Collingwood talent but we're pretty much a lock for back to back flags.

Didak has barely played a good game in 3 years. His days of running through the midfield and putting frontal pressure are well behind him. Spend half the year playing VFL. Massive list clogger.

Probably because bucks wasn't interested in him.

I put it down to personality clashes with the coach.

Guys, come onnnnn!! I am all for the romance of footy but we spend the whole year bagging our current list to then want to pick up players well past their prime. Mick Mansfield anyone??

There is absolutely nothing that Didak would bring to our club.

What possible need do we have for Didak?
Don't think you could point me to too many games where our sub was overly effective. Didak may not improve our best 21, but the sub role isn't necessarily suited the the next best player.

If picked up I imagine he'll play that role more than once this year, and will likely perform it better than most of our current alternatives.

The sub role is largely now for midfielders who can come on late and have running impact...how exactly would Didak help with that??
