With the frankly childish nonsense you've been spouting for the past two pages, I don't feel you deserve one. Cheerio.

Ah yes, this line of logic. I suppose you also think people shouldn't advocate humane treatment of refugees if they don't house refugees in their own houses, and people shouldn't use electricity from fossil fuels if they want action on climate change.
So no response. Maybe you can send all the strawmen you are creating to the front line to fight for you.

“Read a history book…”.
FFS 🤦
Name these history books we should all be reading, or is the new British cooker way of spewing nonsense, “do your own research”?
Talk me through all the just peace you have read about over the last 500 years.

Read War is a Racket by Smedley Butler and the Grand Chessboard by Brzezinski. Will open your eyes.

It was a hypothetical. Not literally about your family.

It was about what YOU would do. Because that is what you believe other people should do.

It's not about England.

Not sure where this came from unless we're in different conversations.
That is not a fair analogy unless you are talking about the German civilians in 1945. In their case, not much they could do. The allies didn't give a shit then.

This is the UK thread largely about Starmer. That is why I am talking about England. I've already mentioned in this thread why the UK cannot have a strong presence in Eastern Europe anyway.

Your stance, and Trump's actions, are cowardly. You can't say you are pro-peace whilst advocating for the victim to roll over and let the aggressor keep their land. It's an insult to Ukraine and Ukrainian people who have been fighting and losing their lives.

Trump is simply trying to point score and is getting pissy that Zelenskyy won't sell out his country. Arguing that he is the only one pushing for peace, whilst ignoring the terms, is utterly distasteful.

Peace requires Justice. Russia needs to **** off out of Ukraine and stay out. That is the only acceptable avenue to peace.
Can you talk me through all the times justice was served to aid peace in living memory?

Soviets murdering and gang raping German civilians in 1945?

The US murdering hundreds of thousands if not millions of Japanese through atomic weapons in 1945?

The French, British and Americans blockading Germany in 1918 causing mass starvation of civilians. Was that justified?

Were the dresden bombings justified because of the Blitz?

Churchill starving millions of Indians so he could feed his troops?

French colonisers putting down rebellion after rebellion in Africa?

'Trying to stop terrorism' by invading countries with nothing to do with it and murdering civilians. Plenty of examples of that in the pursuit of 'justice'. Bush and Blair certainly thought it was justified and lied through their teeth about it.

Justice is PR cover for people doing what they want to do or abstaining responsibility for their actions.

I reckon you need to stop making this analogy.

If someone does that you have a recourse, the state would imprison them. You should defend you and your people in the immediate area, then the state will sort the rest

In geopolitics there is no monopoly on violence, so it's anarchic by nature. You win or you lose, the winning move is not to play, 'Neutrality' however that works out
Except there are countries like Somalia or DR Congo where the state fails to function.

Trump 25% on imported cars hits UK hard.
Tories there seem to be enjoying the difficulties for the government
Other than Landrover,Jaguar ,Bentley and Roll/s Royce. What cars from the UK are exported to the USA.

All these are premium vehicles and I doubt they will afffect the balance of trade by an iota

Beemers and Benz's or the US brands manufactured in Asian are a different matter
