Start to get excited about Ryder Brown the younger brother of Kynan, is currently playing under 15s but made Oakleighs 16s squad. Kid oozes class
Sounds like a big game changer to come on with 7.39 left in the last quarter!

We moved him down to Vic to go to Xavier College. I have read he’s pretty dominant but can’t recall where I read it.
Yeah, I read somewhere as well that he was one to keep an eye on as he was showing signs of being a future talent. I think he'd be about Year 9 now? Maybe Year 10. Figured he'd start to show up on some convo's soon.

I think he’s u16 in 2 years so assume we’ll here more next year and year after.

Read something today which said Ben Beams kid Jake was getting a bit of attention at state level for u15s. Would be handy if he comes on well as he is in the Tassie draft.

Any word on Marley Davey? I reckon he'd be about 14 now. I'm assuming not hearing anything means he's not on our radar?
Said this week's ago but a friend of mine was watching his young fella play school footy and he came up against Marley.

Said Marley kicked 6 goals playing as a high half forward mid and completely dominated the game.

Reckon if he keeps his development up we'll have a pretty special talent if things fall into place.

Still early days but.

If he's got some of the talent his old man had then he'll be a good chance. the family live and breathe footy.

A little write up on Kalani White in a recent 2025 prospects article. Still think he chooses you guys over us, but if you guys miss the finals again next year and we happen to make it then it might become a more difficult decision for Kalani. I tend to think that the longer he takes to announce which club he's committing to, the more likely it is that he's leaning towards staying home on the GC.

I'm fairly confident that Hardwick will want to retain him considering Sam Collins has just entered his 30s and we'll need another high quality tall defender to replace him in the coming years. I suppose you could argue the same with you guys and 32 year old Steven May. Anyway, should be interesting to follow Kalani over the next 12 months and see how he goes against top ranked opposition in the Coates Talent League + the U18 National Championships for the Allies. The Allies are expected to be highly competitive next year and that bodes well for Kalani in terms of boosting his draft prospects.

There's also the carrot of likely getting the two younger White twins that comes with recruiting Kalani. So you potentially get three standouts if you convince Kalani to join your club.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't Marley Davey eligible to participate in the Suns Academy as well? I believe Aaron Davey is still based in Cairns and Marley has moved to Melbourne to board at Xavier, which means his physical address is still in Cairns and therefore is eligible for the Suns Academy. I think that's how it works.

I'll also mention Zebedee Farmer (Jeff's son) who is currently based on the GC and playing junior footy for the Southport Sharks. I don't think he's considered a standout, but he'll obvious have the choice of F/S to Melbourne or Fremantle as well as the Suns through the Academy.
