To be honest, youtubers, podcasters, social media 'commentators' are just as bad and playing the same game as TV/print media - all of it is produced to get a reaction.

I don't know why anyone bothers with any of it to be honest. I find interesting from a human reaction point of view though.

But yeah (and this thread is good example sadly) of a group of well meaning people getting sucked into binary debate fighting defending two sides that are really dancing together. It's a complete waste of energy and time.

It's like pro wrestling but politics.

Dunno about grown-ups, anyone with half a brain knows to stay well clear of politics over there. Both major parties have had a man child, and a bloke with major cognitive difficulties in charge. Dunno why people dislike Yanks, feel sorry for the entire US general population that are getting played by both sides.

It is out of control. The day I was sick in bed in NYC two years back every second ad on Tv was pharma and I’m talking everything, not just headache pills like here

I hope Ulbricht gets pardoned. He’s done 10 years and isn’t a threat.

Assange is free so that’s not as important.

Such as that newly approved usage of missiles came as a direct response to one of (if not the) largest missile and drone attacks by Russia since they invaded Ukraine 2 years ago?

And it's also why France and the UK have now also provided similar approval for the use of their missiles to strike inside Russian territory as well.

Framing this as a "Democrats" issue is very misleading and it doesn't really belong in this thread.
