Yep. Has been backing this boy big time as if he has some skin on an upcoming contract deal and the rest of the Sky team has followed his lead. And now he and they have egg on his face.

That was a basic rookie judgement error when he was no chance of progressing to Q3 anyway.

There was certainly a lot of fibrous construction material involved in the end of his last Q2 lap, that's for sure. But not sure it helps his career.
