Yes, apparently "3-4 days" before the Footy Classified interview which aired on 23/07/2018 and it's alleged that Ned Guy met with Tom at his family's home this Monday just gone, so twice in two weeks.

There would absolutely have been discussions prior to these two, too.
Say that part of your sentence quickly ten times.

It doesn't sound great for us but this is from Choco who doesn't know what's going on behind our closed doors. We could've been working on it for 2 years also, and I'm sure we would have.
We’ve been working on Lynch since before he signed his current GC contract.

Happy to sell my 10000 Apple shares I picked up at $22.. now valued at $207.05 or whatever to a Lynch fund if it does help get the deal over the line re. That's a lil over 2 million re. F great re
I’ll throw in my Fanta yo yo from 1981.

Why? Aren't they allowed to draft/recruit another ruck, if they get Lynch?
They’re not going to alter their dominant forward structure to accommodate 3 talls in the forward line.

I reckon this has been the general consensus on our board for the last 2-3 years. I really hope it's true.

The "safe" viewpoint for journalists to take at the moment is to say he is going to Richmond, simply because it puts them with the majority. It's like a snowball with little to no substance. I'm actually enjoying watching it grow legs, because it's going to make the melts oh so much better.

Subject: For those keen on Tom Lynch

We’re in the race, but remain distinct longshots.
Richmond have forged a strong relationship with Tom over the last 3-4 years.

TBH I am a little bewildered of our management, given (IMHO) he should be ours. As is well known, he grew up a mad keen supporter and his family are the same. If he was to leave GCS it should be to play with us, but maybe that’s just me?....

Our management from here will need be top shelf to swoop in and nab him.

Percentage chances....something like this,
Richmond 85%
Collingwood 10%
Hawthorn 4%
Other 1%

what I will say is this...Ned Guy wants to prove himself.? This is is the moment.

Tony Sheahan's desperation for a smidgen of relevancy is sickening

Agreed...and I think his sister Kate has probably been a chief architect in more than likely getting Tom to the Tigers

Very odd, and have always considered Tigers an odd decision. I see more reason for him going to the Tigers if they lose the flag this season, but if they win why would he?

Premierships are rare and to win one is a huge accomplishment, but i know i personally would have rather been apart of Port Adelaide, Swans or the Eagles in 04/05/06 premierships instead of being apart of the Brisbane Lions flag in 2003 when you werent apart of the 2001/2002 sides.

Well there it is, little disappointing.

Certainly not what one wants to hear from a historically good source.

But, as I said before, there are a lot more shoes on this centipede still yet to drop...

Well we have to convince him I guess but agree why join a team thats already peaked. Tigers can't go higher then they already have and could very well go back to back this year

Be part of a possible three-peat. Go with the mob who you know to be good, rather than the mob who might be good at some point...

Connors is the best in the business.

If my kids became good enough to get drafted I would hire him....gun.
Pickers ?

:D

(I’ll see myself out)

...join a club your sister was signed up to earlier this year...play with a couple of old mates from GCS...

If I was a Bookie
Richmond - 9 to 10
Collingwood - Even Money
Hawthorn - 5 to 1
Any other - 100 to 1
Should depend on the money in your book. Doubt nearly all the money is on Richmond?

If you’re taking bets and say half are going on Collingwood you’re going to be wiped out, if he goes to our Club.

Ofcourse you could be a huge risk bookie and on that basis I’d be a good customer. swing the satchel, at school me point it will get very light :p

Shows a genuine lack of hunger, perhaps self doubt in leading a side when you want to join a side that doesnt actually need you.

Tom Lynch winning a flag with Richmond being second fiddle to Jack is waaaaaay more underwhelming than Tom Lynch winning a flag as Collingwoods main man up forward.

The choice of club geniunely shows what kind of person he is, either someone who wants to work harder and be the main man for us, or someone who wants to take the easy way out with Richmond.

Hi there Tigers alt account. The Richmond VFLW side is not the Richmond AFLW side. Just an FYI.
