The big challenge is he was already lacking peak fitness.

If you had a mild strain but played all year then getting back for the granny would seem more possible, at least in my mind .

They reckon it’s a 21 day injury - and it’s 18 days til the GF - there would and should be supporter riots if they are considering putting him in. As I said, we did perfectly well without him for most of the season.

Not the best news at all because Mills helped Florent and Campbell be more up the ground and it also allowed Lizard to do his thing without getting dragged deeper defensively.

As much as I reckon Adams would be a very good inclusion for a cut throat final, Fox is the logical one to come in IMO

Francis has also been brought in the KPD roles… and struggled.

As a medium defender who can float and intercept, I would also have more faith.

If coaches went Francis over Fox, I’d trust they knew what they were doing.
