I do it 5 days a week, it's fine (and free). I have a pair of over the ear headphones and I sit down and get about 2 podcasts in each trip. Really quite enjoyable, if I'm being honest. I used to love catching the train when I lived Bayside, too. I love 0 effort travel.

I did it for 3 years, a few years before podcasts, streaming apps ect and all that were accessible on mobile phones. Also some of the trains still didn't have aircon.

I was well over it but these days it's very easy to make time pass on the train and I don't think i would mind doing it.

How about all the things we as a society hate about PT? People sitting on the floor in carriages, people trying to get in before passengers can alight etc

Ppl touching me when they sit next to me. Am not just talking fat people- like people's arms up against my arm, like gtf away from me.

Also went on a tram the other day. No air con. Are you fking kidding me.

Had to get the train in Sydney last week carrying all my luggage, was a prick. Had some decent Al Bundys happening by the time I got to the station too, people probably kept away deliberately.

And the never ending saga of the gift voucher continues.

I wish to pay for a $50 voucher.

It shall cost me $60.

:think::drunk::rolleyes:

Get stuffed.

Edit: all good. Found another place very similar, spoke to a lovely lady- who even laughed a bit when I asked is the amount of the voucher all I get charged for.
