Pfft are you kidding?

How about we have players that can- mark the ball, kick a goal (note i said A goal. Doesnt really matter how many total), and pick up a ball off the ground.

Jfc, how many times do you have to see the latter being totally sloppy. JUST PICK THE ******* BALL UP.

/calm.

Hey listen just because your Geelong Cats can't do the fundamentals right doesn't mean you have to slag off the rest of the competition!

Time to privatise the AFL and sell off the clubs to the highest bidder, then the owners can fund the development, the stadiums, etc
Who's gonna give Carlton every second Friday night game when they're bottom four material?

You do understand St Kilda and co have to spend a shitload to compete with the Haves of the AFL as they've never got a proper run from the big house themselves?

Hawthorn won like 10 flags and the AFL still gifted them a training and admin base.

The base was to be shared with the Saints or Essendon

Eventually the Hawks bought it off the developers who bought it off the AFL

If anything the AFL hamstrung them by not letting them add a coloured Scoreboard, through their Samsung sponsor and stopped paying for the police to help empty the car park after the game ...all to make it less desirable

Women’s football doesn’t interest me, but geez, you have to be a bit vindictive to not want it to succeed.
I don't have a problem with it succeeding, I just think it should earn its success. Not just have the AFL tell us that it is an amazing accomplishment before we even had a season.

Except if the money it costs is at the expense of local, regional and state football.

Its also being abused by the clubs which have AFLW teams because the money they spend from the non salary soft cap can also be utilised by their AFL team and not count.

So why no outrage over the handouts to St Kilda if that is the rationale? It's not a zero sum game where you either choose between AFLW or keeping up grassroots football in western Sydney.

Footy is sh*t these days, barely a good game

That is why you watch your state league. I get much more enjoyment out of going to watch South Fremantle than I do going to the AFL.

I think those are bad as well. Because the AFL then owns the team and knows they will never cause a fuss.

Irs why we only ever hear criticisms from a couple of Presidents.
