So why no outrage over the handouts to St Kilda if that is the rationale? It's not a zero sum game where you either choose between AFLW or keeping up grassroots football in western Sydney.
If only St Kilda got the pork barrelling many do in the first place to avoid the handout!

How much land did Footscray get gifted by the government, again?

There's not equality in the AFL, therefore there's no outrage at these last minute attempts to try make up for it.

Why do shops sell e-scooters that by law you can't ride anywhere?

An e-bike that goes 25 km/h powered and as fast as you can pedal unpowered is OK on the road or cycle path or footpath, but a scooter has to top out at 10 km/h or it is classified as a motorbike - only it can't be licensed and used on the road. Wat?

Checks supporters club... :D

Carry on.
Doesnt matter if its a shit team or otherwise. The games stuffed. Too many cooks in the ****ing kitchen/ Both on and off the field.

Actually i sometimes wonder re. the pressure and winning on AFL teams. In a theoretical sense its just stupid- someone always has to come last... 17th and so on. Theres no avoiding that and thus its incredibly fking hard to win a flag.

There’s certainly aspects of the game I don’t love but the banging on about it being “ruined” is pretty tiresome. It’s still an incredible athletic contest and frankly if you go back and watch some of the games from the 90-2000s (and earlier) you might be remembering them with a real nostalgic view. They’re not all the classics you remembers.

Na more due to the game of keepings off and all teams too scared to try and score in case they get scored against.

I personally hate Essendon and their walking the ball over the behind/goal line.
Hmmm wonder why i hate that one so much... hmmm

I got caught out by that in an A Section ammos game 10 years ago - fullback was kicking in after a behind, took forever and the umpire called play on, forward charged in and the fullback walked across the line. Gave it a rushed behind, in fact it was a failure to bring the ball into play correctly and should have been a ball up on the kickoff line.

Its the little things that count.

I honestly watch more non saints games than saints games.
This is where I have changed though. I still watch many/most Carlton games but that's about it. Tune in to the odd other game, 20mins later I usually turn it off. It's just boring.

Used to always watch Friday night games and one or two other a weekend.

A certain misogynist was suggesting they only dislike AFLW because it is over promoted compared to the quality of the product.

They don't see the hypocrisy in that statement apparently but mainly I think it's just because they have already copped it all over the site for bashing female sport and are trying to get a few more goes in without copping another ban for being a campaigner
