It used to be a family tradition from when the first was about 4. December 1 the tree went up and January 6 it came down.

Did that for 30 odd years - time for a holiday. Will start again when grandkids come along

Theres a house thats on the way home when we head out to a bunnos store that had this makeshift manger out the front over xmas
Was kinda like a big crate with figures in it a star on top etc, nothing flash but was obvious it was a manger
So around january we head out to bunnos and on the way home we have a look..yup still out there
Ok whatever.....march June July, still there
Got to about Sept and they had just covered it up lol
This is the same house that when they built it had sheets up for curtains at the front
Didn't even buy some cheapo spotlight indoor blinds or curtains.
Still haven't, must be 5 or so years now

My wife does all that aswell, I cbf doing it, but she enjoys it, we tried the train one year but it took up to much space
