There is a whole generation out there who don't need to remember phone numbers in their head. I reckon as a teen I knew about 15-20 numbers in my head.

Having a printer at home.

Public phone boxes, and in a similar vein, landlines.

The Sunday night movie.

I can still remember my best mate from 1976 3rd grade's 6-digit phone number! The only phone numbers my kids know off by heart are mine and Mrs NB's. We made them memorise them when they were very young.

Not sure about the printer at home one. My kids are always bugging me to print something off for them.
