There is a whole generation out there who don't need to remember phone numbers in their head. I reckon as a teen I knew about 15-20 numbers in my head.

Having a printer at home.

Public phone boxes, and in a similar vein, landlines.

I can still remember my best mate from 1976 3rd grade's 6-digit phone number! The only phone numbers my kids know off by heart are mine and Mrs NB's. We made them memorise them when they were very young.

My late Nanna's street is like that.
Most of the houses are going one by one. Even her's has been demolished and townhouses are there now.
Only Streetview and the real estate listing photos is all that's left.
