Not sure it will go away, it comes back due to the movements in my job. I have to stand and twist and after 15 years of doing it my back isn’t enjoying it.

Part of a risk analysis of your job should be to eliminate the twisting motion or make it less of a repetitive strain.

I don’t think you could even do my job without the twisting motion. I think I need to look at some core exercises to strengthen my back /hips up. Trying to lose a bit of weight too.

He's had a terrible back for as long as I've known him but he's feeling really good now

I don’t think I do, I was replicating to my wife what I think is the problem and I pick things up and sort of twist maybe only moving one foot and I think it’s this process that is hurting my back.

Pilates is fabulous but I'd recommend some clinical pilates first, if you don't get your form right you're gonna **** your back worse than ever

Best lessons I got on learning how to lift safely were from the draymen who delivered beer and taught me how to move 22 gallon barrels of beer about the place without screwing my back.

Check the front door (bitter experience). Also where you go when you arrive with shopping etc, its easy to put them down with other stuff and bury them.

I’m guilty of this behaviour, except for the go forth and fornicate. Bloke was waving me down and wanting me to wind my window down and I just avoided looking at him - gave up in the end

They were trying to tell me I hadn’t put my fuel cap back on
