"Fantasy" and "delusion" are two words that come to mind when your board has a thread dedicated to which side makes way for Collingwood in the eight next year. I've bookmarked that one, it will no doubt be a great read throughout the season. That thread already reeks of insecurity. It's all just hope that teams will slide and there's no belief from within. We may be optimistic, but at least we believe in our own ability. You are relying on other teams to fail or drop off because you know your current playing group isn't up to top eight standard. Your arrogance is such a front and you're fooling no one.

If Richmond have no hope of winning the premiership, I wonder what chance the side they obliterated by 90 odd points has. What an absolute piss take that day was. I'm pretty sure we had Steve Morris playing that game too, so you pretty much got b*tch slapped by a side who were fielding one less player :$:$:$

What the f*** is a Yarrin by the way? Did you mean Chris Yarran? I think he'll be a very good player for us, just like every other player that leaves Carlton and pursues their career elsewhere. He will give us some run and nice disposal off the backline and definitely fills a need. He's like Travis Varcoe just slightly better in every single way. I wouldn't say he's the missing piece but I'm glad we're recruiting players that address our weaknesses - it's a proven approach. We could throw significant overs at anyone who wants to walk through our doors, but you guys are proving that taking that route only contributes to a steady decline down to the bottom of the ladder.

There's a new precedent now set at Collingwood. Any money hungry talentless grub looking for a bigger pay slip knows the Pies will welcome them with open arms. And kudos to Jeremy "Highlight Reel" Howe for milking the shit out of it. The biggest fraud in the game has just used the Pies to bump up his wages. He now sits well entrenched into your starting 18 and you guys are talking finals. Oh dear.

I enjoy your overly active approach to trade week. You throw money at every flavour of the month and do whatever you can behind the scenes to get them across the line. Short-term gain for long-term pain. Anyone with a clue knows it just isn't sustainable. The crash and burn is inevitable, you're just prolonging it by paying overs for all your new recruits. It's only a matter of time before you lose guys like Sidebottom, Cloke and Reid.

The Pies remind me of Brisbane this time last year. The "trade week champions" who brought in an abundance of talent to fall short of the mark by some distance. I can sense a similar underwhelm in the upcoming season for the Pies, especially with an incompetent and tactically inept coach at the realm. Hopefully Bucks learns to deal with last quarter nine goal onslaughts over the summer, otherwise I can see guys like Tyrone Vickery turning your midfielders inside out again. He's not a coach's arseh*le and it's hilarious watching him drive your club into the ground.

Anyway, I just thought I'd drop in to say hello while you're all on your high horses after being crowned trade week winners. There's a little thing called the premiership season that starts in a few months, if you're all still around by then I'd love to touch base with you all. No doubt at that stage you'll already be looking forward to the next trade window. I hear Levi Casboult wants out and you guys need a new KPF. $1.8m for 3 years perhaps?
Sounds like you've been having a few rage wanks recently. Have fun watching your team get overtaken by more talented young squads next year.

In 2009, we were beaten by Geelong by 70 odd points in the prelim. Beat them the next year by 40. Look at this year as well, they beat us by 41 points in round 7, come round 22, we beat them by 48 points. Things can turn around quickly- just look at the Bulldogs this year.

Shame you can't realise that though :)

You've come to the wrong board, time to move along

West Coast is a better example. Went from missing the 8 last year to runners up this year.

Love it, Gosha. You could throw money at any player who wants to walk through your doors - if only player's of any significance wanted to step foot in there. You offered Treloar more money, and Flog Hartley even resorted to personally calling Adam begging him to come to your irrelevant club like a stalker ex bf. How sad, honestly. You just bury that pain deep down, son. Put it right next to that 90 point win you've all been clutching to so tightly because let's face it.. it's all the success you'll have to weather the storm of yet another 35 years of mediocrity.

Oh thank god. Finally someone who doesn't fantasize me rage wanking...

Treloar only went to Collingwood because Eddie offered his missus a 150k salary to make him coffee and clean the toilets at Channel Nine studios once a week. The only sad part about the whole Treloar situation is that Collingwood can't attract players on a purely footballing basis and they need to offer sweeteners to their partners to get deals across the line. I'm glad our club doesn't take that approach to recruiting. We'd rather have players come to Richmond because they actually want to play at Richmond, not because our fat president lures in their female counterparts. Enjoy the faux show Trealor puts on about always wanting to be at Collingwood. It's cute and you morons are the only ones buying it.

And I love how you just dismiss a 90 point drubbing like it's nothing. It looks like that game made you lose some of your dignity and sense of pride :$:$:$

You really think that most melbourne clubs don't do that?

Also, Didn't Dave Matthews promise Treloar to the tigers at one stage?

Wow, he really does suck you lot in every time.
KB..Treloar....Richmond:rolleyes:

The quality of trolls are not what they used to be.

Richmond fall well short of a flag. North Melbourne fall short, without really looking like a premier.

These 2 teams have added Yarran & Townsend (LOL:eek:), Anderson and some picks. No improving your list via trade week and relying on improvement from moderately rated young talent....yep, recipe for a flag:rolleyes:. Seriously, Grigg, Lambert & McIntosh...pffffft. That's distinct poo.

Both sides will hang around the bottom half of the 8, maybe for another year, before younger more talented teams overtake them.

What did we offer Howe, Varcoe, Crispo, Adams & Aisho's partners ?

Hahaha it's now up to 150k is it? Pretty soon his misus will be out earning Gina ******* Rinehart according to you lot.

Sure, let's ignore Treloar's, Aish's, and Howe's comments about the Pies being a destination club of it suits your agenda. You can't really cling to the notion your "club" only wants players who WANT to be at Richmond though, can you? When AT had made it abundantly clear it was Collingwood and only us who he wanted to join, you continued to peak over our shoulders still desperately trying to get to him. Sorry to obliterate your logic there buddy. Thanks for playing.

Who's the idiot: the one on the radio taking opposition supporters for a ride or the ones religiously tuning into him getting offended over it all?

So are you proud of him? KB's attitude really goes to the culture of the entire club.. He's become a parody of himself because he never actually has any positive (or at least factual positive) news to report on your basket-case of a club!

Typical delusional Tigers supporter response. Do you have any evidence of said employment, or are you repeating Big Footy rumours? Because the AFL, despite investigating Collingwood after Gale complained to them about possible dodgy dealings, found nothing untoward in any of Collingwood's dealings.

Once again, do you have any evidence of this, or are you just making things up to make yourself feel better about missing out on yet another marquee player? You should probably choose your words carefully if you're going to throw around accusations like that. It is possible to be sued for slander/libel for things posted on social media you know...

Aside from that, there are two seperate posters on this board, both who have close connections to seperate members of Adams family. At no stage during the year were Richmond even close to being in the hunt, despite what the Richmond hierarchy thought. You guys got played, pure and simple. Your club was a useful tool for Adams manager to extract another $50k from Collingwood and nothing more. So congratulations, you bumped up his wage from $600k to $650. I hope that makes you feel a little bit better.
And I love how you just dismiss a 90 point drubbing like it's nothing. It looks like that game made you lose some of your dignity and sense of pride :$:$:$
Nope, we're jut intelligent enough to realise that that particular game wasn't indicitave of our season as a whole, and as such we aren't particularly worried about it. If you want to hang your hats on it, more power to you, but don't expect to see the same result next time our teams meet. You'll be disappointed.

Gosha 'refer to above' is a Richmond supporter in full flight. Yes I got yarrans name wrong. Yarrin.. yaz.. yaz and the plastic population. Who gives a s..t. You speak of him like hes the ants pants but had we got him.. im thinking no way.. no doubt. You bring up this 90 point victory like it means something.. what exactly did we have at stake? You see how you delude reality now?

How's about the afl send you a porcelain replica of the prem cup to add to your disillusionment.

You are the reason I love Richmond so much.
