Surely a SA hub too?! Two teams in WA, two in SA, four in Queensland, two in NSW with the Queensland teams.

I think the plan is for SA teams to fifo once the Vic teams are out of Victoria for two weeks.

The AFL have left this to the very last moment possible but I’m glad it’s finally happened. Any longer and the season would be paused again

It probably requires a pause in order to reset.

Wouldn't be opposed to having a bye or split round in order to get teams to the locations they need to be for the season to progress.

Would still hope both Port and the Crows are getting at least 7 AO home games each in the remaining 11 rounds after the hub. Would also make sense for two Vic sides to play against each other a few times at AO which can hold a decent crowd now.

It’s possible without a pause, but also extremely complex. So yeah a week pause/split round is pretty likely.

So all Vic teams in interstate Hubs by next Wednesday. They’ll be there for 32 days which is until Sunday 9th August. Lasts from Rd 6-10 (5 games away), and then reassess. Games in WA/SA/QLD/NSW

interesting for round 5 travelling teams. Suns to geelong, sydney to qld and hawks to sydney.

qld already breaking thir regulations by allowing sydney(who were just in melbourne) in so will they allow the suns back in, who its rumoured will leave queensland to hub elsewhere anyway.

is it too late to alter round 5.

Its not certain whether Vic teams will be let into SA so it may not be possible for an SA hub. Im not sure what would happen to the 2 Adelaide teams in that situation as they cant be expected to play away the entire season.

Suns will travel to geelong, the sydney for a few weeks. That serves that quarantine QLD allow. They could go back to QLD after that. If not, they could travel elsewhere.

Swans haven't been in Melbourne for 2 weeks, since round 3. So there shouldn't be an issue. They played in Sydney last week.

They will be let in if they have done their 14 day quarantine in another state.

The Crows and Power will have a long stretch of home games I would think, with teams flying in after they have spent 2 weeks out of Vic. Not a “hub”, just teams rolling through.

Yep spot on. Works quite well actually.
