Don't discount Watt. Goodes runs around a lot. Watt is quite a good runner.
Have him tag Goodes. Sure, Goodes might kick a few goals, but that frees up Petrie to do some real damage around the ground.
But Watts can't read the play, so a half fit Goodes would still towel him up.

North to bounce back against Swans in final

Retiring North Melbourne star Shannon Grant has warned the Swans to brace themselves for a fired-up assault in Saturday night’s AFL elimination final at ANZ Stadium.
An inexplicable 76-point drubbing to lowly-placed Port Adelaide last Saturday incurred the wrath of coach Dean Laidley.
He publicly attacked his players’ mental application after they blew a finals’ double chance, consigning them to a cut-throat final interstate on a ground they have never played on before.
But Grant, who said he did not feel let down by his teammates after their performance in his 300th game, said he was certain the Roos would make amends for the loss to the Power and would hit the Swans with venom to stay alive in the finals.

“I think there’s a lot of pride in this group with some pretty strong characters,” Grant said.
“We were beaten around the ears a bit after the match and when you play like that you get what you deserve in footy.
“We’ll really come out firing and hit back as a group.”

North have a propensity to bounce back well after bad performances and Grant agreed the team could draw confidence from the way they responded after their 53 point loss to Fremantle at Subiaco in round 12.
Laidley rated the effort as his team’s worst performance in his six years at club following the game, only for North to down premiership contenders Hawthorn the following week.

“Every time we’ve had a loss like that (against Port), the resolve amongst the group and the way they’ve come out the following week has always been good,” Grant said.
“I wouldn’t expect anything different this week.”
A key factor to North’s upset victory over the Hawks was their aggression, with Daniel Harris leading the charge collecting 32 possessions, 12 of them contested.

Grant acknowledged Harris was integral to North’s fortunes and said the team needed to re-capture their hard edge to beat the Swans.
“Our pressuring, our second and third efforts, our tackling - all of that has been off the last two weeks,” Grant said.

“When we’re doing that, and we’re doing it well we’re a good side.
“We can’t afford to get away from that - it’s a pretty simple game.
“We know it will be tough and will go down the wire and they’re probably expecting the same.”

A controversial draw was the result of the two sides’ last meeting in round six at Telstra Dome, with Sydney escaping a penalty of losing two premiership points after having 19 players on the ground.
