This should upset so many Eagles fan and even some Hawks fans who were ready to throw in the F1 to get the deal done.

I am glad the MM is earning some of his bread. if Smith is pick 16 with something coming back then pick 14 by itself is more than enough, ideally want something coming back but willing to settle at pick 14 as goodwill gesture and for Eagles to "save face"

Houston may end up going for 13 with something coming back or Blues F1+F2

if Eagles desperately want to win the trade, add a pick in late 40's to mix and Hawks F2 can come in to play.

That's going to be something like 17 + 40 on draft night. Imagine getting that for Sicily.

Sicily is a much better player than Barrass.

It honestly doesn't matter what this trade is tbh.
If the reports are true and we're going to forward your pick on to Richmond for Baker then we're losing this trade period by a huge margin. Barrass is a significantly better player than Baker and much more valuable as a key position.
The semantics of any additional picks doesn't make up for our sheer incompetence should the reports be true.

• WC will counter 11 + F2nd.
• Hawthorn will put final offer 11 + F2nd for Barrass + F3rd.
• Will drag out till finals minutes of trade deadline with threats from both sides of walking away.

So then there is not a single required player in the comp. What if a club offered Collingwood picks 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+ 3 future picks for Nick Daicos? Would be still be a required player?

There are heaps of required players. The ones not getting traded.
