I thought it is a bit risky playing him so early , well it is other team gain if he reinjured.

If he is selected ? But we only know about it tomorrow isn't it , if he is not match fit he is out , why thank GWS so early before confirmation .Is it so hard to wait another day .

If he's named, he's ready to play. End of story. More likely than not to play at senior level, or a practice match. Either way, he is fit to play.
Again, before you assume 'shenanigans'...what is to be gained by them in this situation?

So you're telling me categorically that Hawthorn have never once played games releasing teams on Thursday, then happy to pay the late withdrawal fines come game day, or don't stretch the truth with the Bupa reports? Cmon mate, you've moderated the Hawks board for how long, only to hear the complaints of the club being liberal with the truth when it comes to selection night, or weekly injury reports.

Investigated for what? Did Hawthorn somehow orchestrate Scully injuring his ankle, not playing for the rest of the season by fooling the GWS doctors, and then holding a gun to the head of every GWS recruiter to agree to the trade?

Do you honestly believe that the reason he was traded for such a high pick was because GWS doctors felt they couldn’t fix his ankle..but Hawthorn could?

No it's because they had a very very tight cap with a lot of important players they need to re-sign he was injured at the time and that made him more expendable (Also not on the level of Kelly or Coniglio despite being a very very good player).
Seriously it is not hard to understand why he was traded, they needed to move him on and he wanted to go to Hawthorn. This limited how much they could ask for in a trade.
