Hurley shouldn't be in the top 20 of his own draft , let alone be in the top 14 of the 07-09 drafts. It's a joke

It's based on what they could potentially combined with what they've done to date, so it's not that outrageous. But Rance should be there too.

Daniel Talia a bit stiff, held down CHB and beating the big forwards week after week.

Since being corrected a few times, I had a more thorough look to try not to miss anyone.

Talia should be in the top 30, apart from that great effort

New attempt : MY PREDICTIONS OF BEST PLAYERS BY END OF CAREERS, not just what they have done to date:

Not a bad effort. Although I'm sure a few of those players probably will either 1: have breakout years or 2: suffer poor form/injuries. Can't predict those obviously so that list is a pretty conservative prediction.

I think Ward could be a bit higher though. He's doing good things in a poor side and should lead them up the ladder.

Dammit MAAAATTDAAAAMON where is Roughead???? :p

Reckon Kreuzer might surprise a few and surge up the rankings. And if Menzel gets fit then he will also surge up the rankings, that guy is soooooooo good. But another good effort :thumbsu:

Not a bad effort. I would have a few higher and a few lower but pretty good. More effort than I could be bothered putting in

There is only 1 better backmen on this list than Scott Thompson and that is Taylor.

You have Carlisle at 7 yet no Thompson in the top 70? The essendon bias in the list lets it down. Unless you really think you have drafted the 2nd best back, 2nd best ruckman and the 2nd best forward?

If this becomes an accurate list, Fremantle, Adelaide and Essendon will have been the best teams over the next 6ish years.
Melksham is not going to be as good as a number of players below him though.
We drafted incredibly well in those years though

When pointed out, I can see the bias. Hurley, Bellchambers could be a bit high but I am hopeful they will reach those levels. Hurley won't get there as a forward but as a back could well do. IMO. Carlisle I am confident with. Scott Thompson!! How'd I miss him!! Dam. Certainly deserving of a spot.

yeah i'm confident we can achieve something in the next 5 years with the core group of danger, rory, walker, talia and jacobs. We have to strike while the iron is hot though, and have some luck with (no) long term injuries. It's when these guys turn 26-8 that we should be challenging. I think they're all about 23 at the moment.
