Actually no this is best cause its everything I love about the game in one piece of play

This game isn't a classic but it's a game that is tattooed in my brain, a lot of 2002 is pretty clear in my head. I guess being 15/16 was alright. Pretty sure Melbourne got out to 56 points up and hawthorn took the lead before Melbourne steadied and won the game by 27 points. I also remember not seeing a lot of woewodin on the ground in retrospect a sign he was out of favour.

Crazy how much being in contention does for making moments. We’ve never kicked a goal after the siren to win a game and picked the most dramatic possible H&A occasion to do it for the first time. That goal and ‘Bang! Bang, bang, bang!’ were technically nothing special (and Gawn’s even less so) but will live in the memory for much longer than probably even the craziest goals I’ve seen when we were a bottom side)
