None of the above would get a game with WCE for the following reasons

Rocca

Is probably still living at home with his mum or living next door so is unlikely to move to Perth

Tarrant

Being easily distracted would end up liking other pusuits if he lived in Perth and would probably retire

Fraser

Would not get a game in front of Seaby or Hansen.

Clement

More likely to return to the Dockers for a 1st round draft pick

Buckley

One more decent injury from retirement and probably would have difficulty flying every second week anyway

Mark my words by the time Fraser, Seaby and Hansen finish there careers Fraser will be well in front . Fraser has played very few games since 2003 . Get a tape of any game from about round 10 2003 through to the Grand Final when he was the pies only good player and you will see why Collingwood supporters rate Fraser so highly. It was not until he started playing great footy that year that we started winning . I believe his form was the main reason we made the Grand final that year. I was only about 20 at the time so I expect him to improve alot its just that injuries have not allowed him to.

He gets called a dud because he has hardly played footy over the last couple of years. When he gets fit there are alot of people who will be eating humble pie.

I don't normally like to make comments which make me look biased but with Fraser I am prepared to because I believe he is much better than opposition supporters think.

So Collingwood's best 5 players would get a game with West Coast. Big deal. Does that make them champions or something?

Incidentally, I think Fraser would struggle, seeing as he'd be our 4th best ruckman. But anyway...

They'd be a long way off being in our top 5. Buckley in his prime was great and Clement has had a couple of good seasons.

But Rocca, Fraser and Tarrant - what have they done recently? They're nowhere near the top tier. But at Collingwood, they're among the elite.

That's why Collingwood are screwed.

The reason why Rocca, Fraser & Tarrant have done nothing is because they have been injured!! The last time these three players played a group of games together was in 2003 and guess what the pies were favourites for the Grand Final!

Buckley would be West Coast captain
Clement would be ur best defender, he is AA defender a back2back copeland trophies(do u even know what the Copeland Trophy is??)
Rocca, Fraser & Tarrant would be ur 3 tall forwards, just like they will be for Collingwood next year.......

Fact is that 4 of Collingwoods most important & best players all missed huge chunks of 2005 & guess what we finished down the bottom........take out Judd, Cousins, Cox & Glass from west coast and u wont finish top 4 either

Thats a given, take 4 of the most required players out of any team and they will do badly. WCEs midfield would be able to cope with Judd Cousins and Cox being out (Barely) but if you took away Glass or Wirrpunda aswell that would leave our backline a total mess and we wouldn't make the top 8 let alone the top 4

I was not saying Fraser was a bad player, just not a top 5 player IMO

He is a bit like McDougall for West Coast

An Injury prone high draft pick who has shown promise at times but is caught between being a Ruckman and a Forward


Both could become very good players but the Jury is out on them currently

I would also have Hayes in there for St. Kilda. I rate Hayes extremely highly, but there are always going to be a couple of gun players missing out on St. Kilda's list, so not everyone will agree.

Interesting that Joel Bowden doesn't get in Richmond's list too.

IMO J Carr is in our best five right now. Pavlich, McPharlin and Hasleby in the best in 2010, one of Drum and Mundy and some guy that we pick up with our top 5 pick next year....
