Don't take anything on this thread too seriously we are just pissed that he is leaving and slinging a lot of mud on him and accusing him of everything, if you've paid pick 21 for him you've got him for a steal. Whatever his issues are he's running away from his problems where they can't hurt him anymore rather than being a mature adult and dealing with them here.

Brisbane have offically won trade week, they have going to have a good year next year.
I hope there are other later pick swaps that move in our favour, this didn't go well for us.

Really? Well that could still work if it was the right guy- and, if he banged heads with the coach, there are other ways to do things other than fold.

I'd heard that Macca gave the seniors a stern talking-to, which they didn't like. Sort of Geelong 2006/7-ish.... but the Doggie boys didn't want to accept the criticism.

I guess there will be Chinese Whispers coming out of the kennel for some time, yet. It'd be probably a combination of reasons as to why things are imploding there.

I was just following all of the information in Emma Quayle's article, I think that the article claims that Crisp is going to Collingwood, though the wording was a little ambiguous.

The emergence of fringe Lions player Jack Crisp as an extra sweetener to a deal involving draft picks 5 and 25 to Collingwood shaped as the final element to close that deal.

1) Christensen asks to go to Queensland and Geelong arranges the trade very quickly. Why? It was as if the cats said "You want to go? Ok, no problem." IT all looks too neat.

2) Why did Bundy nominate Brisbane immediately? If he wanted to "escape" wasn't GC just as attractive, if not more so? Should I sniff a pre-arranged deal here?

I'm with Son of God ….take 21 and run with it.

The deal would then see Collingwood on-trade pick 25 to North Melbourne for Levi Greenwood.

The three-way trade of Heritier Lumumba to Melbourne, Mitch Clark from Melbourne to Geelong and Travis Varcoe from Geelong to Collingwood would round out the trade package.

Meanwhile the Lions will today unveil Allen Christensen as their new signing after the Cats' midfielder passed a medical examination on Sunday. The Cats will receive pick 21 for him in return.

Christensen had sought a trade to Queensland for personal reasons.
