Why?If true, Lynch in play this season is not good.
It will eventually get to a tipping point where the majority of clubs have at least one player on mega bucks. Sydney (x2), Fremantle, Richmond and WB are already there. In saying that it's still a while off, so I wouldn't to go too far above $1.2 mill for a single player.
I can also see a point in time where clubs are permitted one or two marquee players outside the cap (you could argue GC and GWS already are/were), but again that's a longer term thing.
Isn't he a free agent next year? And if he nominates us we just need to put an offer on the table and he comes, meaning we keep 1st round picks of either this or next season or both? Why?
Do you forget what year it is mate?

Brings a lot of clubs into play.
Gold Coast would surely match to make clubs trade!Isn't he a free agent next year? And if he nominates us we just need to put an offer on the table and he comes, meaning we keep 1st round picks of either this or next season or both?

If we are hitting the draft why are guys like Mayne and Blair not getting delisted? We are better paying them out and giving someone else an opportunity
Blair is Bucks Favourite and Mayne still has a Big Salary
They can match our offer as he's restricted then we have to start offering picks anyway. We're in a good spot this year in terms of having a low enough first rounder.
Get the guy in ASAP is my view. Get the chemistry happening right now.
Who the hell cares get rid of themBlair is Bucks Favourite and Mayne still has a Big Salary
Yeah ok you must be right. I rate Schache of what I have seen him do. I used the stats as a comparison between players. You should never recruit a player of stats if you are going to bring someone to the club you have to see them in the flesh see what attributes they have as so much can't be seen on the stat sheetYour arguments are getting more irrational and inconsistent by the day.
You used stats to argue Schache is as good as Lynch, Moore and others at the same age not long ago. Now this.
If stats are not important why the hell is there a very expensive annual draft camp where player are measured and tested within an inch of their lives?
Is that all worthless?
Hope notLooks like we might still get Smith:

Pick 6 and next years first should do it surely? Maybe a player... Greenwood or Thomas?
If you'd asked someone to give you 10 fremantle player names at the time, he'd have been one of them. That's all I meant by that.
Mayne's salary is still an unknown. Some suggest $500k a year or even more, others have suggested a front-loaded $420k with triggers to potentially earn about $500k in 2017 but reducing after that.
So his 2018 salary could be anywhere between $350-550k.
Suns will match in 18 anyways get it done now. 6 + 2018 first + Thomas
So if the Suns do match, do you think that is the end of it for us?Suns will match in 18 anyways get it done now. 6 + 2018 first + Thomas
No but we will have to put up a couple firsts either waySo if the Suns do match, do you think that is the end of it for us?
