Aggressive trade period is bang on.
Haven’t punched as many walls for years.
Part of being in a footy club is for the leader, coaches and seniors to guide the kids into mature adults. Many kids will that age will make mistakes, do the wrong thing and even break the law sometimes - that is part of growing up. If the club can't manage diverse type of kids and wants everyone to conform to a standard stereotype of a youngster - that says a lot about the maturity of the club and its leaders than the younger kids. This issue has been prevalent ever since Bucks took over and he has been instrumental in driving out players who doesn't "comply" with his requirement, personality wide. It has come back into force now. We have failed to groom one youngster into a superstar under Bucks. So getting higher picks will not solve the issue - it just postpones the inevitable and into whoever is unlucky enough to come to this club. With regard to Stephenson, even if he was on $600k next year, I don't think we would be rushing him out the door if we thought there was plenty of upside.
However, it seems there are bigger issues here with him. Whether it be his attitude etc, the Pies are comfortable waving goodbye. If we don't get a high 1st round pick from him, and no club is keen to offer it, then his reputation around the traps must be of concern.
He has shown glimpses of being a matchwinner. He is a rising star winner. Basically right off this year, and he has been an excellent talent in previous years. Something smells badly here, and it's not my week old undies.
Burn the place downSomeone go dump a pile of manure at the Holden Centre doors. I'll pay for it.
Brissy don’t sell papers I guessIt's funny how Brisbane had to salary dump with Witherden yet there's hardly any media attention/vitriol given to that vs what's happening with the pies.
Deplorable levels of trying to defend the indefensible from this club, even by your standards
He will love it , hence the trading of him. Decent money on long term security = no need to work hard
I'd be happier for him if we weren't sending him into a dumpster clubPart of being in a footy club is for the leader, coaches and seniors to guide the kids into mature adults. In my heart, I am happy for Stevo if he leaves. He will be able to grow into a better footballer somewhere else.
We sort of need to stand our ground here and withdraw from trading any players if we are not adequately compensated.
Even I would prefer to keep Stephenson than trade him for a second round pick...there is a very slim chance that he can turn it around and grow a pair.
Do you have some evidence that STEVO's attitude is not a problem and to therefore refute the earlier post today?
Why would the Club want to incur the wrath of supporters if there were not accentuating circumstances around STEVO?
You need to join the dots!
So has anything actually happened yet or is everyone still jumping at shadows?
Usually this is a time for optimism.
I’d be so happy if we landed Wright or Brown and maybe a Higgins.
Instead we have zero positives of how we will perform better next season

Reminds me of that joke...Has he agreed, he needs to

Tom Browne stats that Bucks messaged him to say he is not wanted. Haven’t got the balls to say it to his face. Fig jam has to go. Another player on a long list that bucks doesn’t see eye to eye with
You may be right. But who knows? Maybe he has had a few chances and maybe there have been other issues the Pies have been able to hide. I don't know, but I do think that it must be serious to want him out and any price. And again, for such a talented, young kid, why is there no interest among every other club????? That's what I find concerning.Part of being in a footy club is for the leader, coaches and seniors to guide the kids into mature adults. Ditch Greenwood, Mayne and go the draft. We look like dumping 3 20 year olds.I'd much rather we use all the picks they'd cost at the draft table. Different strokes, different folks.
Has it hit anyone we are genuinely going to be a bottom 10 side next year? We were flag favourites after round 1 this year.
I’m flat as
