Once the Stringer situation got leaked the media and no actual market for his services eventuated we were always going to get screwed.

Club has made the most of a bad situation and for mine the responsibility for this s*** show sits firmly with Jake Stringer.

Could have lived with 25 & 30 for 16, but that trade onto Carlton was horrible

Closely followed by the Collingwood one.

I have heard Carlton are taking on Lobbe's current high salary ($500,000 pa) as PA need the relief with the signings. Only explanation that makes some sense.

Agree. The club had to try to get a top 10 pick, and say that in media. Unfortunately not enough interest in Jake and that screwed us.
