Very cryptic bro! So many possibilities!

I can see his presser now:

"Yeah look guys Stringer is like a good mate of mine so if he goes Im going too cause thats what mates do, you back your mates. DDTB (dont dog the boys). I know he did the wrong thing I was even the one who set him up with those girls. Who cares? Whats that? My dad played for this club? Im contracted? **** that bro, me and stringer are mates so mates mate. Peace."

How quickly we forget

We have a bonafide match winning freak in Bontempelli

We have a bonafide elite a grade work horse in Mccrae - who has improved each year.

We have the specialist clearance king in Liberatore who had a hang over in 2017

We have the number 1 on ball rubber man in Dalhaus

All young and or not quite at prime age and therefore should be getting better

Switched on - as I expect them to be in 2018 - we are the elite midfield in the league as we were 2016 - it only needs a break even ruckman due to the third man up restriction.

The weakness - if everyone is fit -
A better more consistent ruckman and a genuinely fast goal sneak.

Due to injury threats to Adams another quality tall defender is also required.

That is all

This is a quality elite list and the totally predictable 2017 drop off has clouded many minds.

As for Stringer - there is only one question which needs to be asked and answered. Will he chase and work hard with repeat efforts in 2018 and beyond?

No other discussion re Stringer is necessary. His talent is obvious to even his detractors. Players who work consistently hard get lucky and a lucky Stringer is a scary proposition we do not wish to dream of trading. A Stringer who only wants the easy glory is not the Stringer we want. We need a Stringer who wants to be leader of professional standards. That Stringer doesn't want to be traded and nor should club want to trade him.
well written and agreed

HAHA I was even dropping my chin and doing a head wobble as i read that!

Just out of curiosity - how does trade week work in terms of list managers and clubs interacting that week about trades? Are they in seperate rooms and someone passes on offers or do they all actually chat face to face? I can imagine it would get frustrating if it's the latter option.
