Would be nice to lure McLuggage out of Brisbane but we probably don't have the cash unless we lose someone.
Other lower value options to look at would be Ollie Florent on a wing.
Blake Hardwick or Isaac Cumming as small defenders.
Don't watch a heap of football outside of the Dogs so I'm sure others would have a much better idea of who would be worth having a crack at.

Because the majority of top line players don't get to free agency which is why the over the top compo is a joke

Only ones that I'm interested in are McLuggage, Hardwick, Cumming and Duggan. Other players are either too old or not particularly worth chasing.

I reckon Ben Keays would be a useful addition. Can play a number of roles mid or forward, strong defensive side and runs all day.
We picked him in his draft year, before we picked Dunkley, but Lions matched.

There’s actually some really good options there for us - let’s be honest we’re not going to get Jeremy Cameron’s etc but we’re perfectly placed to bring in good experienced role players via FA. So forgetting about Stewart & Mcluggage which won’t happen.
Hardwick would be a brilliant fit as Doc replacement, Cumming & Perryman, McGrath - he’s not pick 1 quality obviously but I think he’d be nice cream in a good side, might be sick of losing at the Bummers. Hayward would be awesome, Duggan could be a realistic option.
Florent or even Mcintosh for a wing if we’re still struggling there next year. Drew & Holman would fit nicely too.

I'm not sure where the 80% figure came from. Possibly another case of AFL reporters discussing a matter and them creating a headline based on their own speculation. But clearly it's a point they're not dropping so the smoke is presumably coming from somewhere.
If we could trade Smith for an early pick then sign McCluggage as a free agent it would be a nice bit of business.
The list was published on the Fox page so it's almost certainly wrong.

He has the sort of c@nt in him that I think our team needs much more of but I don't think he'd be on our radar particularly given we got Harmes through the door.
IF there is a high chance Baz leaves (I'm going by the article mentioned on the previous page) then I really would have loved us to make a move on him this trade window. Just not sure we could get the pick 4 that we could have got from Hawthorn this year, if he leaves in 12 months time

Geelong are cooked soon. Lucky they held out for pick 94 to bring some more talent in
Matheson is a very good VFL player who struggles at AFL level. Can't see that changing.

Wasn't McClure almost certain he was leaving this year, even after his manager came out and said they aren't even considering looking at other teams?
It's the dead period of the season and Smith would generate more clicks than anyone not named Daicos or Oliver right now
