Its between Warren and Brown, and to be honest although i would be loosing money on him if i did go Warren i would be making it up by getting a player in like a ROK or GIA or Davey who will rise even further.

Brown has more job security in my opinion? Do you think Benny Warren can play the season out?

Ballantyne will be playing in two weeks.
Brown does look secure in the WC line up.

Who knows what Laidley is thinking. His focus has turned to developing the kids, and Warren has been solid without starring, so on current form he should keep his spot for a few more weeks at least, at which point he should be well over 200K

Overall Ranking: 640
Trades left: 14
Remaming from you salary: 130,200

My team is as follows:
Goddard, C.Cornes, S.Fisher, Drummond, Houlihan, Grimes, Cheney
(Suban, Petrenko)

Gibbs, Swan, Corey, K.Cornes, Ablett, Hasleby
(Rich, Beams)

Cox, McIntosh
(Jacobs, Spencer)

Giansiracusa, Deledio, Pavlich, Franklin, Higgins, Skipworth, Sidebottom
(T.Walker, M.Brown)

Now I'm looking to upgrade Hasleby in the coming weeks to one of, Bartel or S.Thompson. By the looks of things due to Bartel's 69 score last night, his price will drop quite substantially, probably around 5-7% of his starting price.

Then there is S.Thompson who has dropped -15% of his starting price and has a BE of 137 this week, so you'd imagine he will drop to around -20% in the coming weeks.

I'm thinking Bartel because he will probably average 5 PPG more than S.Thompson for the remainder of the year when I get them in, but then again Bartel will probably be around 100-150K more expensive... Head says Bartel, but looking for a second opinion.

This week I am going to trade Rich to either Ablett or Swan.

If I get Ablett, I will only have 30K in the bank.

If I get Swan, I will have about 100K.

Which one is the better option?

Swan will be easier to get later in an upgrade as he looks to go down from here.

anyone else have their trading strategy thrown out by the scores last night.

My plan was to bring in Didak and possibly Swan over the next 2 weeks.

However with Jimmy's score, i may need to use next week to cash in some players and be cashed up ready to pounce on some fallen stars. Chapman as well looks enticiing a couple of weeks after he gets back particularly because his hammies and back will have had a nice long rest.

Also very concerned about Higgins as a keeper now - groins have a habit of lasting a season

Yeah I'm in a similar boat. Was thinking I'd make a Haselby to Kornes straight swap, downgrade Walker and upgrade Beams to Swan (I have a bit of cash at the moment). Now with Haselby's score, he's going to be worth holding a little bit longer, and Bartel is going to come into the picture. I agree that Swan will probably be easier to pick up later. I probably can't afford to trade to heavily at this point either.

Deffs will be going Walker to almost definitely wright next week
and tuck to Cross/kornes

Leaving me with 50-70k left in the bank...

Here's hoping Houlihan comes back next week after a shocker from a heap of blues.

Scotland in for sure

However out = Waite & Armfield and maybe Yarran

Who knows - my man Gartlett may get a game :D

As much as want him to play, Dont think so....

Russell, army, and yarren on chopping block. Waite injured might go out. I can see houlihan and scotto coming in.

Yep!

Will hold zaha for a bit longer, bartel now on my radar, and raines giving me the biggest headache EVER.

Read on the WB forum Higgins is out 4-6 weeks.

Higgins ---> Davis
Ziebell ---> Giansiracusa

B: Goddard, Chornes, P Burgoyne, Gilbert, Adcock, Grimes, Rance
(Broughton, Petrenko)

C: Ablett, Swan, Gibbs, J Selwood, Hodge, Rich
(Cockie, Anthony)

R: Cox, Kreuzer
(Jacobs, Browne)

F: Davis, S Johnson, Deledio, Goodwin, Giansiracusa, Franklin, Warren
(Walker, M Brown)

Will have 10 trades remaining and $30k in the bank, barring injuries will need to downgrade 2 of Walker/Brown/Warren/Petrenko/Cockie at some stage and upgrade Daniel Rich to a Premium.. this will take 3 trades so will not be a viable option if there are any injuries, however I may be able to free up some cash if one of my better players does get a LTI. Eyeing off Bartel at this stage, he should be as cheap as he is going to get in 2-3 weeks.

Ranked #8025 and have dropped in overall ranking every week (started at #38) so hoping to start my crawl back. Any advice appreciated

N.Grima and Wright look tasty.
They do, but I worry about their job security. Grima could be in the gun when Hansen and Pratt return in backline in the next couple of weeks, and Wright might have to make way for Campbell and Harvey (who is making a faster than expected recovery and will be back shortly after the break).
Be warned: you never know what Laidley will do.

Hill to Mackie will be a trade locked in this week.

Might have to trade Waite too if he's out for too long.

If Waite isn't out, I'll pick up Cross for Whitecross.

What are people doing with Raines?
His low score in his first game back was excusable due to the weather which really doesn't suit his game. I didn't catch last nights game, but almost all tigers scored poorly, including Raines. It seems a waste of a trade after holding onto him for all those weeks but unless he pulls out a big score next week he's out.

Very Pissed off about Higgins
And will probably trade him out this week or the week after
Will probably do
Walker to Wright
Tuck to Cross
Following Week
Higgins to Nathan Brown

Couple of high end Mids are on their way down below 400K Stanton, Priddis, Thompson, Cross. So many bargins in the next few weeks.

Also looking at Lockyer, he is at 378K great value. Embley 353K could be an interesting option.

ACL buddy. Don't think he will be playing for a while....

Well Matt Austin has given me a big decision to make between getting him and Wright...
At the Moment im leaning to Austin, 40 at half time! very good effort!

Walker to forward rookie X is locked in for this week (I already have Wright and I'm not convinced on Austin. I'm thinking of going for Hayden Ballantyne, backing Wright in for a few weeks until Laidley inevitably eventually drops him and hoping he lasts long enough for Ballantyne to crack the Freo 22). Franklin is the other one who'll come in next week, but depending on the Higgins and Krakouer situations I'm not sure who I'm trading for him.
