Does it matter whether I go Ablett or Bartel this week, becasue I really dont know who to pick right now?

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on Jono Brown. Looking to bring him in as he is very cheap at the moment and I'm a bit short on cash. Will he be able to average 90+ from here on? Are there any other good options under 350k? Thanks in advance

KR37, wouldn't get Browny, he's been very disappointing this year. 2 100's in 10 games isn't good enough from a supposed premium. Look at Nathan Brown next week.

What are people's thoughts on me getting Muston,

Either Coughlan to Muston (leaves me with 220k in the bank for Ziebell to Roo next week)

or Collins to Muston (leaves me with 200k in the bank for the same trade)

However Collins and Cogs both have more to go up while Cogs is a potiential keeper, even though im going to get Gibbs for him anyway. Suggestions?

Bartel has a breakeven of around 160 so should drop in value and i also think if T. Tuck comes back in he should raise slightly in value if he has a good game. I have Tuck and think he is worth hanging onto for atleast another week if he is named

Bartel's BE is 169 so with that score of 69 from Round 9 still there next week he'll go down around $18k (well, at least $14k allowing for a score of 130 against WC).
Personally I'm looking at bringing him in next week if I can, but struggling to get the cash together.

This Week:
Beams > Muston + $93k

Next Week:
Warren > Ballantyne + around $138k
Rich > Bartel (assuming Bartel ~ $445k; Rich ~ $300)

Giving me $100-105k to upgrade Houlihan/Raines to some sort of Premium?
It does mean keeping Ziebell in my starting squad unless I cash in on Sidebottom at a later stage.

Any thoughts on this?

You dont see him be able to turn his form around late in the year? I already have Nathan Brown also.

To answer your question I think downgrade Collins over Coughlan. Cogs still has a lot more improvement yet to come and may prove to average over 90 for the rest of the year which is great for a 6th mid.

To be honest I'm thinking to Collins>Muston and Suban>Lockyer as Suban is shit cover for Chad. Then next week Warren>Rookie, Ziebell>Roo. That would leave me with a full team with 5 trades left apart from Cogs.

Anyway to your question KR, Brisbane are in the best form of the season and Brown is scoring pathetically, so i wouldn't pick him up right now. Buddy's been shithouse this year so i'd stay away and also not Davis either with Didak and Medders coming back.

Good options to me are Gia (last week at a good price) and Petrie (consistantly get you 85 and the odd ton). Goodwin is another option also but he is well past his best and i don't see him getting big scores wit the young brigade of mids coming through in the likes of Mackay, Van Berlo, Knights, Vince etc. Unfortunately you just missed the ROK boat that sailed last week but I'd look at those two.

Not if they also have Hodge and/or some other injured hack.

I personally have Suban who should hold on and get a bit more TOG with all of Freos injuries, but dont forget that Broughts hurt his ankle this week as well.

Wouldnt think so, came back on and put up another 20 odd points in the final term, looked fine.

Although funnier things have happened. Freo were down to 18 fit players, so maybe he got a jab to get him back. Dont forget he missed 3-4 weeks with an ankle earlier this year.

MAJOR EDIT: Although come to think of it, I do remember thinking to myself "Why is he kicking only with his left foot?"

If you watch the replay youll see that he exclusively used his left foot when he came back on.

People might do the latter if Robbo gets suspended as offered. I have Cogs, but won't do that trade. It will be Beams->Muston for me. I will probably not trade C.Cornes even if he is out for 6 weeks (5 matches) as it sounds like it is. But with Hill likely to miss, I'd say that means playing Broughton (assuming he plays).

Chad is out for 4-6 weeks. He did his calf which is 2-3 and is also going to get surgery done on a knee injury.

I swear I saw him kicking off of his left a fair bit in the Hawks Freo game..
