One of uslook, Green is going to look like so much less of a ****knuckle when he puts the red and black on. So, there's that
Yup. It's frustrating when people try to pass off their hope's and/or opinions on something as being a cold hard fact.Haha.... are you now.
How do you know that they don't know, though?Yup. It's frustrating when people try to pass off their hope's and/or opinions on something as being a cold hard fact.
If people want Green that's fine, personally I don't but I'm not about to go and say or insinuate one way or another what will or won't happen because I don't know and neither does anyone else so they should stop acting like they do.
Dunno if it comes across on this but I'm really open to listening to peoples thoughts/opinions on things (AFL or otherwise), but it drives me nuts when people act like they know everything or are too stubborn to listen to people on the other side of the debate or those in the middle trying to understand both viewpoints.
I don't, but if they do shouldn't they be saying they have a strong source one way or another (without blatantly lying about it)? Seems rather pointless to state something as fact without solid evidence to back it up.How do you know that they don't know, though?
I can't find the article for it but the Suns did say at some point that they had no interest in trading for Pick 1. I think I linked it in one of the previous threads but there's too many posts to sift through and find it.I recall you throughout the season saying it was a fact that Gold Coast would not trade picks 4 and/or 8 despite them never saying as such. You were right in the end, but you did the exact same thing you claim to have a problem with
ESSENDON might have a buyer for Pick 1 in the national draft, with one club interested in acquiring a pick inside the top three.
Although the Bombers have not yet secured the first choice, with five matches still to play in the season, the Giants are exploring a trade in which they would give up two of their three first-round draft picks in exchange for Pick 1.
However, Gold Coast, which has two first-round picks — currently Picks 4 and 8 — has ruled out a deal with Essendon for the prospective first choice.
A source at the Suns said there was “not a chance in hell” they would trade two first-round picks — the expected asking price — for Pick 1.
The Giants have Collingwood’s first selection from the Adam Treloar deal, plus Geelong’s first pick and their own — currently Picks 7, 15 and 17 — and could earn a fourth first-rounder if Caleb Marchbank decides to leave, with Carlton heading the queue of clubs in pursuit of the key defender.
Essendon has been on record saying that it would consider trading Pick 1 for the right price. There is a view among recruiters that the draft is even and that it is a year in which a top-three pick is worth trading for multiple picks inside the first round.
The Giants are in a different position to other clubs because they have a highly rated academy player in Will Setterfield, who might attract an early bid that forces the Giants to use the Treloar draft pick to claim him and downgrade their next picks.
But if they traded for Pick 1, 2 or 3, they would be able to select the player they want and still claim Setterfield.
Because of the contentious academy players and the complicated bidding system, the Giants place a lower value on first-round picks than most other clubs this year.
GWS also has a tight salary cap and is likely to trade players out this year. Adam Tomlinson and Jack Steele are among the young Giants who might be offloaded for draft return.
The Suns are in a similar position to the Giants in that they too could end up with three first-rounders in the likely event Dion Prestia requests a trade back to a Victorian club.
Richmond, which currently has Pick 6, would be expected to forfeit that choice if it lands the out-of-contract midfielder.
Nerd alert!Having a read of the inside football magazine and I'm even more keen on Dylan Clarke. He is apparently tipped to get a 99 on his enter score and works hard of the field to get information and work on team structures.

Not in the slightest, basically what I said in that particular discussion was I that I thought Patton was the type of player that I thought we should go after if we were to trade Pick 1. After Patton said he was currently interested in leaving GWS I cooled on him (but was still hopeful). You came pretty close to passing opinion as fact when Patton said he wasn't interested in leaving gws. And you took that as it is a lock Patton plus pick 7 for pick 1.

Good luck on here Weevz. the biggest problem with Big Footy is people jumping in half way through conversations and quoting out of context. You have to explain the start to your whole point a lot. That is where a lot of the confusion and in turn frustration comes from.
I've noticed, and people wonder why I get frustrated when I have to repeat myself again and again lol. Yep 100%!That's the biggest problem?
Good pace, natural smarts as a forward and exceptional hands.Where has the Hayward bandwagon come from? Has had some good bags but he doesn't appear to have any special attributes. From the champs games he didn't grab me as that skillful and his decision making isn't anything special. Seems like a Sicily/WHE type at best.
I hope someone rates him highly though so slider can get through to us.

Think you might be right.Maybe just don't waste your time..
I thought you would steer clear of percentages after last time.Yep 100%!

TAC season kicking efficiency:Ive gone cold in a big way
What are your thoughts on his kicking looks worse than Atley for me but has a better inside game and better accumulator with a better tank.
Mate, lighten up. Lance is having a bit of a laugh.Corrected. Getting a bit annoyed with people assuming its a forgone conclusion.
